• So now that everything is installed it is time to launch MPC-HC and configure everything! Open MPC-HC and then either press O or right click on the black screen and select options. You will then need to select Playback and uncheck the box for Auto-load subtitles and press Apply as shown in the image below.
    With that step out of the way it is time to enable madVR in the output section by selecting it as the option in DirectShow Video as seen in the image below.

    Now it is time to get to the filters. We first start by disabling all the Internal Filters crap as seen in the next image.
    Next we go to External Filters to enable the good ones! Simply press Add Filter and select one at a time the filters: LAV Video Decoder, madFlac Decoder, ffdshow Audio Decoder and Haali Media Splitter (AR). Once all of these have been added your External Filters page will look like the image below.

    Now you can double click the option LAV Video Decoder from the External Filter list to bring up the configuration. Just click on the Formats tab and then select every single Codec just like in the image below and then press Apply followed by OK when your done.

    When back in the External Filters list double lick on ffdshow Audio Decoder to configure your audio settings. First we will want to ensure that FLAC is DISABLED in the Codecs list as shown below.

    With FLAC disabled you can setup the Mixer as needed for your audio setup and configure the Output to match the settings of your receiver if needed as shown in the next two images.
