at the beginning of the map u can clearly see him going for the hosties at first, he got interrupted by killer joining.

Tick 69000: he gets his ass raped, so he decides to start slaying himself via console. Note that if u are on the losing team, u get partial cash for losing the round, so he kept slaying himself repeatedly, leveling his rapscallion from lv 1 to 6 (from my calculations) in about 5 minutes by buying tomes...

tick 83k: He gets warned in chat by Killer, who tells him that this is a permaban offence. He then goes to ramble about having multiple accounts that he can use to play here if he gets banned (clearly it wasnt a misunderstanding from his part... clearly it wasnt accidental, and clearly he wasnt sry).
He also claims that "no one will find out" .... yeah, isnt that ironic there buddy?:P

and so on with the ticks...

I already talked to maynard and slapped a month ban on him. This will be the minimum for his offence, even if first.
I am also gonna ban his ips by request from maynard.

Reason for posting this:
- Just in case any other ula is tired of giving chances like with haxor and benhime etc... and wants to perma ban. (even though i highly doubt this will happen. )
- documentation purposes.

If he fucks up another time, im guessing he will be subject to a permaban offence. THis is his last warning to act civilized.

edit: the way he just went and pulled that successive level farming, without even double thinking, adding that to the fact that he says "this will only take a sec" to killer, makes me suggest that he has cheated like this before on our servers... im sure that if i go watch demos from the empty server, i would find him doing the same shit... he's a new guy here, and he claims he is doing this all the way to vaga...

Killer, for example, is also a new player, he did his part in helping the server by waking me up on steam and warning the guy, instead of joining him in the farming.

I WAS originally planning on setting up another trap by not banning the other accounts and his ip, giving him the opportunity to bypass (which i would be ready for, in order to slap a perma) but maynard asked to clean up shop early with the IPs this time:)
Edit: yeah, the fucker had two accounts and 4 different ips. When i saw that the ip he got banned at was actually his LEAST used, i figured i had to go through all of them, not just the most used... I didnt post them bcos i was waiting for maynard to confirm smthn on steam (whether or not i keep just this account banned or everything else too), but i was plannin on updating the thread if it was decided eventually

the server rules proper state that exploitation to break mod functionality is to follow a kick -> temp ban protocol. there is no mention of a perma ban, though the only specific thing it mentions is warding/smoke nading bomb sites/hosties (so a bit off topic, smoke nades on bomb sites/hostages is NOT allowed per the server rules) so i feel like it doesn't include level farming. the wcs rules state that level farming is an instant ban, doesn't say how long. my interpretation is that this is left up for discussion and is based on evidence presented and how egregious the offense. given the techniques used, the warning given (though only by another player), and the persistence of the player in question, we've come to the conclusion that it should be perma. if my interpretation of the rules is wrong then clan's word will say so, but there's no real rush on that as there has been no unban thread and it's pretty clear this'll be a lengthy ban no matter what.

I'd agree with that in most cases but i do feel this is a different case. if they want to change the ban length to whatever they see fit, they're free to do so of course. but since ula want perma, none of us are in a position to make it some other length the way i see it

This should of never had a permanent vote option in the first place. We don't make rules and it isn't our position to do so. I'm not trying to argue, or go against anyone's idea (Hell, I want it permabanable.). I'm just saying what was done here is not right, and sets a bad example.

There is no just in-case what we ULA want to do. There are rule's, we follow them like any admin, not make shit up.

I don't mean to come off arrogant or whatever, but this is the kind of mentality that can ruin shit and has in the past.
