We like to talk about all the cool abilities for our wcs races but what about the stuff we can do in RL? Below is sort of a list of life achievements as far as human abilities go copy the list and add if you can do them and to what skill level. If there is anything major missing let me know and I will add it. As you can see from the list these are things like bike riding that require some skill to learn how to do that you never forget.

Snow Ski: Double Black, best I have been to is Colorado but I learned from the youngest age with private lessons annually for 10+ years.

Water Ski: Can stay up for a long time cutting in and out of wake I have not slalomed or done any of those ram things.

Snowboard: Never tried, never plan to

Wake board: Water Ski is enough for me

Knee board: I have only done this once but I did a barrel roll was fun and would like to do it again

Rollerblade: Can go on some ramps n shit but nothing fancy

Ice-skate: Can do basic jumps and spins, have had private figure skating lessons up to when they start to teach you stuff for when people are going to do it as a sport. Have not done it in years but it was always a lot of fun gliding on the ice, I hope to some day skate on a big lake or something where you can just keep going and going with no one in your way.

Bike riding: I think we all got this one

Unicycle: Seen people do it but never tried

Horse Riding: Western Style, have ridden in mountain passes and in rugged terrain, have raced at max speed for .5 to 1 mile. This is the sort of stuff you got to have your own horse to do or have friends with some. My instructions were my dad taking me to the horse places in the US where you just follow everyone else so that was my only experience prior to real horses. The rest was here you go now figure it out and oh if you mes up it is going to hurt or result in death. Some of my friends learned how to ride on real ones with the same instructions. This is how you hold the rains and this is how you control the horse now follow us and if you get stuck or lost we will come back for you. I will say that riding is very fun if you have never done it. The perspective is very different from walking/driving as I have done this in very scenic and remote locations it is something worth doing at least once in your life.

Skate Boarding: Can do it but not very well

Snorkeling: Fun and easy once you get the hang of it.

Scuba Diving: Have not done this yet.

Bull Riding: Have not tried the real one or the fake one lol

Drive Stick: Never have actually had to but can

Motorcycle: Was taught on a gravel road where I had to go back and forth in 100ft lines the road was not wide enough to turn without spinning the tire or going forward/backward or lifting the bike up. Under these conditions your going to fall a bit and learn fast. I was driving on sand with street tread within hours! Have actually only done it twice now but in the DR it is very dangerous if you do not know what your doing helmet is pointless down there (never actually seen one down there now that I think of it) if you mess up your dead. Oh btw good luck dodging potholes and anything that is larger than you are on the road.

Boating: Have done this for a long time, can sail but have never operated a large 10ft+ size sail boat. Can also use PWC on two stroke.

Trailing: Have trailored boats and PWC

Truck Driving: Anyone that has knows this is a lot different than SUV or CAR. With a high center of gravity and weight these things are a lot different to handle. I have driven a 15+ foot to move back to GA.

Racism: Force Blacks and Mexicans to do shit that real people don't want to.

I can drive a stick (in b4 you assholes make a joke lol). Seriously, my first car was a manual.

I can rollerblade but i havent in years.

I tried waTer skiing but its really hard. Like, really hard. I didnt stick with it long enough to learn how to even get out of the water lol

Ive been on a fake bull.....i fell off after a short time. You cant be from the country and not ride a fake bull.

I had horse riding lessons when i was young and in 4h..but i dont remember any of it.

Mainly, i excel at none of these..well, except for driving a stick..cause i mean, thats like riding a bike

I can play a mean vidya game hahaha

I can do a mean med pass. Thats my ultimate lol

Thats slavery...like the ultimate. Racism would be a passive, most likely.

I'm really good at coming up with stupid recipes like hot dog salad, and spaghetti-o pie. I also make the best steak known to human kind it's all in the marinade. :D

I'm also really good at being angry.

I pretty much suck at everything I try. FML.

You're from Texas... And think the best steak uses marinade... Lulz... Salt and pepper.

Trucks are simple to drive, just be more careful, leave much more room for breaking, turn wide. Now a 53 foot trailer can be a pain at times.

Wake up: Drink massive amounts of coffee.

Procrastinator: Wait till the last minute to get something done.

Clutch: Be the one to pull out a victory when working under the gun.

Last Word: Ability to be the one in a social setting to say the last shit that immediately starts a fight.

I know a perfect way to settle this, kids - why don't you both make your best food that you can possibly make (5 dishes should suffice) and send to my home and I'll evaluate who's a better cook. You can't get a better deal than that.

Only that? I'd have figured that they'd actually use potent enough poisons to actually accomplish something...

Pssh, you wanna talk about steak. Try dry aging porterhouse steaks for two weeks, searing them at temperatures exceeding 1000F, then slowly baking to a medium rare temperature of 120F and allowing to coast/rest up to 125-130F. Only seasonings you need on a good steak are salt, pepper, and MAYBE a few dashes of Worcestershire. I went steak crazy for a time.

But anyway;

Cook: Food Science Undergrad at the moment, but saying I love to cook would be a gross understatement. Breads are my favorite, followed by desserts (of course). Top 5: Tiramisu, Rosemary Bread (a.k.a. Biddy Bread), Croquembouche, Jambalaya (simple goodness), Bread Pudding (other simple goodness). For the bread pudding, try adding the cookie parts of oreos into the dried bread, and add the cream to your "custard" base, it's like a cookies and cream bread pudding when it's done :icon_mrgreen:.

Ice-skate: This was an interesting date... she was on Zero's level, while I was happy gliding with my legs firmly locked so as not to go into, yet another, split. Difficulty rating: High (stretch those legs before walkin' on that ice).

Bike riding: WIN! Since I go to school in the city, this is my mode of transportation everywhere. Get groceries, go to class, and just leisure rides in or around the city. Not hard, I tend to ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars :pimp:

Scuba Diving: Great fun, and you don't need to be a scientist to do it (though expenses can get rough). I started learning when I was back in middle school, my dad takes people on dive charters up and down the east coast. Just remember to keep an eye on your air gauge, don't lose your buddy (or the anchor line >.>, not fun), and if you are worried about the bends, don't rush the decompression! Looking to get re-breather and cave-diving certified, it's hard getting in the hours needed during school breaks.

Truck Driving: My first vehicle ^_^. Still my chevy silverado, 8ft bed, extended cab. While I'll admit driving anything longer than 15ft is a pain, how you handle it in a city area is what sets apart men from the boys. Parallel parking, need i say more =P

Camping: Not my best skill granted (DAMNIT! STOP SELF-COLLAPSING, TENT POLES!), but I keep a sleeping bag and tent in the truck at all times. Love to go somewhere on the spur of the moment and just camp :camper:.

Smoke: :smokin: Cross-J's, Vapes, Naga (small bubbler), and El Toro (circ-circ WP). My personal preference to relaxation; alcohol is all fine and good, but this keeps me in a better state of mind. While I won't condone everyone trying it, for some, the activity is worth experiencing for yourself.

Being a Gentleman: Difficult if you have to pick it up later in life. My mamma taught me well though :wtg:

Getting Dressed: Not only working up the momentum to get out of bed and reach into your closet, but that whole "fashion" concept. I'm getting better, but so was Squidward and his people skills. Both need a lot of work =x

Travel: Not so much the going to crazy exotic places, but being open-minded and receptive to the traditions and cultures of where you go. For instance, there's nothing worse than going Japan and having that one american person who doesn't want to try new things, makes your excursions miserable, and stays at the resort with all the white-folk. It's difficult to ignore our initial judgements of people and culture, but understanding their POV will make the experience so much better.

Why would u go to Japan to stay at a resort?

I have saved my money for 10 years so I could go to Japan for 2 months after I finished collage. I still have not gone b/c I stayed home to help my parents but now I am not sure if I will ever get the chance unless jigsaw comes too.

I didn't, I stayed at my sister's apartment and a few hotels over the course of my one month there. My grandmother (god love her) was not as open-minded to the excursions my sis wanted to do with us, and thus preferred to keep to the resort/hotel she was staying at. Nevertheless, we appreciated her coming to my sister's graduation which was the main reason for our visit.

Don't fret ZERO, I'm sure you'll make it there someday. I was only able to go because my sister had already set herself up there. You'll find your window of opportunity, and if it closes before you can jump through, there are other ways out. I'm trying to either land a job for an international company where I could get relocated to Japan, OR I'll happily save up the $ to go again, there's so much that I couldn't cover in that month and so many things worth re-visiting. Just be sure to drop us a postcard if you do something spontaneous!

I know if I do ever go it will be in March-April b/c I want to be able to ski in Hokkaido but still hit up the beach in the south while I am there. One thing I totally want to check out is Ogasawara, Tokyo now that is something that truly is once in a lifetime opportunity. Sure it takes over a day to get there but talk about landscapes.

Really there's no bad time to see Japan haha. Got the Sapporo Ice Festival during the winter (with RAMEN ALLEY!), Cherry Viewing during the spring, Onsens during the fall (Hakone, another really great place to check out), Deer at Nara and the temples in Nara during the summer/spring, let's face it this could go on forever haha. But I'd definitely like to go to Ogasawara, it reminds me of the climate in Hawaii, great sealife, and some great history. I highly recommend if you're passing through Tokyo, to go down to the ginza line (it's like 3-4 escalators into the ground, very unnerving), and just people watch. You see the guards literally packing people in like sardines, the funniest shit to watch as most just shrug off this fact haha.

ain't nobody got time for that.

That's why it's a special meal =P. You can go as little as 3-4days for the dry aging in the fridge (really makes a difference), but if you're gonna plan something in advance, take the time to do it up right. Makes that special person feel that much better.
