Swording is an issue across all servers the best answer I can give you is not to get so close to the barricade and figure out whats a good distance.

yes, s-wording is rampant. you can't play on the server for 2 minutes without hearing someone drop the s-bomb.

It could be lag, if your ping is above 200 than you should probably get a better connection.

i was watching you when i was in the cade with you a bit ago, i thought you were reeeeeeeally close to getting tagged at one point. being that close on any sort of consistent basis is pretty risky and this sort of thing is gonna happen.

The funny thing is that whenever I try to get close enough to get straight up headshots to kill them, everythings alright. BUT when I back up to gain a certain distance but stay within a close enough
range to still provide accurate shots, that's when I keep getting sword for no reason. =.=

I'm going to check demos. LOL

Edited again: What's lame is that it's been happening recently also. Over a few days in the last week I've been
bombarded with .7, .8 and 1.0 meter swords.
No lag. Even zombies seem to have good ping.
