How did he/she abuse (See TOS): Me and that negative nancy Donkey got into it. Nightstrife took offense to what was being said. Mean while Mr.Peanut decides to be a jerk and tk or team attack me every round. The admin in question ignores mine and other peoples pleas to do something about this ass hole who has singled me out for his rage. He was not doing his job as an admin and I would like for people to know this if there's even a slight chance he is considered to get ULA. I realize I am drunk and I may or may not be stepping over the line if I was he could of muted me. I'd forget it maybe, or care a lot less anyways. DO YOUR JOB PLEASE.

Bullshit, two wrongs don't make a right. If someone responds to team attacking with team attacking, then both players should be disciplined. If there's a hacker in the server, can I show him up by getting my own, shinier hacks? Of course not.

The admin should be able to keep control of a server and not take sides in an issue. No matter how much of a cunt carmichal is the admin should be able to deal with a situation properly without everything descending into chaos.


With that said I don't think this is abuse, rather just really shitty admin-ship.

carmichal was talking shit to donkey about being french canadian, saying stuff like "you should just surrender, that's what your people do anyway." donkey was retaliating verbally, so to me this goes under banter, and is at most a mutable offense if it gets really annoying. after they had been going back and forth at it for a bit, mr. peanut teamkills carmichal. she and donkey continue, and nightstrife says "just shut up, you're starting to get me pissed off and i'm taking offense to shit now." peanut teamkills carmichal again, teamattacks her next round as well. nightstrife informs the server that he, too, is french canadian. carmichal says "i don't have a problem with them, this guy's just getting under my skin." peanut goes back and finishes off carmichal, and she starts saying she'd appreciate it if someone took care of it. he teamattacks carmichal for the 4th straight round, and then carmichal retaliates. nightstrife gave no fucks for those 4 rounds at tick 39700, mr. peanut again teamattacks carmichal, she retaliates. he teamattacks again the next round, twice. nightstrife still gives no fucks, no warnings or anything.

it's clear from this demo that mr. peanut initiates every instance of team attacking, and that nightstrife does absolutely nothing about it. no warnings, no slays, no kick, no ban, nothing. and he was informed by carmichal and several other players. based on the context, he is condoning the team killing and team attacking that mr. peanut does on carmichal because of the french canadian trash talk. admins condoning teamkilling, for any reason whatsoever, is not acceptable. period. nightstrife, if you don't like what she's saying, inform her. when you did, she stopped. if she didn't, mute her....don't let someone get away with team killing out of spite. no "abuse" of powers here per se, but this kind of conduct is unacceptable

Thee was no abuse and to make one report is funny . It was late and all I wanted to do is play a little cs then go to bed but no. They start out ok I was tolerant of the trolling but after many rounds it got annoying so I put a stop to it and with the tking when you are on the other team you can't see the attacking on players and how can I believe trolls that are tell me many things. I may have done nothing this map but the next one I stayed in spec looking over the players that were tking last round and all players an they were still instagating a fight even on the different teams and left and came back as meow and the ones saying I was horrible have the worst mouth. Next time I'll follow the rules and a couple of people will get banned. Not just pretzel since I can't be one sided

if people are telling you there's a teamkiller, you look into it right away. also, you can see in the top right corner when a tammate kills a teammate, regardless of what team you're on. that came up 3-4 times at the start of a round. i'm an admin too....it's pretty damn hard to miss. every time i see that, i warn them right away. you did nothing, after sever occurances and after several people telling you about it. you can't claim you didn't know about it...that's bullshit.

I fail to understand from the posts whether or not nightstrife used any commands on charmichal and ignored the Peanut guy? Or did he simply ignore both?

I'm not saying it isn't a dick move, we went over this on the "Aleko abuse thread" when he didn't want to help people change teams to keep their vagas...
But if it's lack of diligence, and not doing anything? It's not abuse. Not being a good role model and admin? sure.

PS: I do understand the initial motive to post this thread. From what I see, Charmichal isn't really focused on the abuse thread itself as much as simply trying to inform people that Nightstrife "wasn't doing a good job"...

yeah its technically not "abuse" but an admin does have a responsibility to keep the servers clean, and there was a clear failure to do so in this case. whether he just said "eh fuck it, who cares" or realized the team killing was going on and just let it go...he has an obligation to do something about it. i don't see how, given all the talk going on about it, and the several occasions where it clearly appeared in the top right, how he couldn't notice it going on. he's not that retarded.

it's easy to see when a teamkill pops up in the top right within 5 seconds of the round start. hard to miss it actually. 3-4 rounds in a row...yeah come on.

The key to remember here is that admins are not required to actually use their power. They are only required to follow the rules for using their powers.

If an admin is on and not banning someone that should be and you want them banned right there then you should order admin for yourself and thus not need to rely on if another admin is going to take action at that time. Alternatively you can always submit a ban request in the forums.
