Reason for perma ban: The player in question was banned for advertising another clan's server on our servers across several maps. There is another player who is linked in ticks that I will be writing a new thread for. That player was banned for 4 hour due to (3) disconnects to avoid being tagged. Please see the link HERE (http://www.ibisgaming.com/forums/showthread.php/10386-Ganddalf-01-02-13-22-31-STEAM_0-1-26190208) for that ban.

:popcorn:BAN DEMO DRINKING/TOKING GAME:popcorn: *(Warning! This is very dangerous and you do this at your own risk knowing the complete effects of any substance.): Count each time a player says "faggot" "fggt" or some variation of the word. *If you're feeling up to it, tally the final score for every player in the server, see who wins.
- for our favorite intoxicated ULA's and clan members, Enjoy!

1st Demo's Ticks:

Ok i'm now color coding it for each player that deserves some sort of ban and will sum at the bottom :headache:

56600: Player "ILoveLamps" advertises the same clan as *2nd*Panic does later
57000: Player Panic: "god damn you lamp"
57500: Huge spamming war on the server... would love to have kicked a few `Dr. Funny Venegas. (77000), jimmay (85000),
58000: Player "ILoveLamps" continues with an additional advertisement
58200: Player "Laevaithienn" (or something like that) says "no advertisin"
62900: "Why u banned panic?" ...oh the irony of what was to come v.v

65000: Panic spamming on mic
66000: "theCat" mutes him i believe, then leaves
70000: Panic continues to mic spam

80400: Panic changes name to "Ganddalf"

2nd Demo's Ticks:

Joins map as Player "Ganddalf"

13000: Player "Ganddalf" is mic spamming again
Given the speech, I'm going on a hunch that "Panic^_6" is actually "ILoveLamps" from the boatescape demo. However, we will use a new color for this person until STEAMID is confirmed.
20000: Player "Ganddalf" is mic spamming yet again
26800: Ganddalf spams "Affirmative" to answer Panic's question of "is anyone else a fag"...this group needs to really improve their vocabulary, not be playing games :banghead:
32000: Player "Ganddalf" mic spamming...
45000: Player "Ganddalf" mic spamming...
55000, 57000, 60500, 63000-65000: Two mini-mic spams from Ganddalf
70200,73700: Player "Panic^_6" advertises server

Chef's Realization: I already banned "Ganddalf" for 4 hours because he had disconnected 3 times on another map to avoid being tagged (rank manipulation). He also left at 73000 in the current demo when I told him about it, thus evading an admin's ban. Sum it all up, and he's a bad cookie :headache:
Continuing on...

85600, 91000, 94500, 101700, 1014500: Player "Panic^_6" continues to spam server advertisement

3rd Demo 's Ticks:

42000: Player "Panic^_6" advertises server on chat bar
45000: "no that's your advertised site panic" - Cybersled
45200: Player "Panic^_6" advertises server on chat bar
48000: Player "Cybersled" calls out add, 480200 Panic acknowledges advertised clan
50000: Advertisement
56000: I call him out, he plays dumb
59500: Advertisement

Sum-up:
- Player+Player banned for 1 month for THIS thread was the advertising player.
- Player in THIS (http://www.ibisgaming.com/forums/showthread.php/10386-Ganddalf-01-02-13-22-31-STEAM_0-1-26190208) thread caused multiple mic spams and needs a broader vocabulary like his friend here. That and the 4 disconnects mentioned earned a 4 hour ban from me, but I feel we could extend that possibly, what say you?

I think he can serve out his month ban. I don't feel there is a need for perma just yet. If he comes back in one month and hasn't learned his lesson, then we can give him a perma.

The apparent PyschoStats freeze recently is making things annoying to work with. Is the third (yellow) player the very same as the cyan coded one?

As according to the bans:
Disconnecter (red): http://www.ibisgaming.com/zm_stats/player.php?id=103340
Advertiser (yellow): http://www.ibisgaming.com/zm_stats/player.php?id=7404

By the way, I wouldn't stretch "disconnecting from a tag" as far as being "rank manipulation." Yet. Not from one proven instance. Not saying he's innocent or guilty... but I don't think we should go down the "rank manipulation" road at this point. It's too early.

Gandalf is only banned for a week. I believe the month one is for advertising and disconnecting.

Also, Gandalf normally plays as "Panic_^" but some people in server thought it would be funny to change to his name. Just posted the corresponding (according to STEAMID) stat pages (although not updated) to clarify. I haven't read anything in Chef's account about the advertiser disconnecting. That was Gandalf's infraction (along with general douchebaggery).

I know..im just clarifying that he is only serving a week. Had he been considered rank manipulating it would be longer. Like the others, if they serve their bans and dont learn then we can act more harshly.

Regardless of the facts of what comes of this. THIS is how to properly put up a ban request, whether admin or regular, this is how it should be done, well done.

I did some reasearch and watched the demos. Panic ^6 is indeed, I love lamps. I agree with the month ban..but not a perma, as stated before. He was the one advertising and not heading admins warnings.

As for gandalf, he can server his week for breaking rules and ignoring admins, and for having multiple bans on record.

Agreed, and the rules clearly state temp ban before perma ban on advertising, it should not even be up for debate. People that keep breaking the rules will have their bans upgraded to eventual permabans. At ibis we try and give people second chances. Closed.
