Motd errors?

since the last update to Steam the server Motd's will not stay open after you have fully joined a game, say in the zombie server if you want to look at the Motd to then link to the rules from it they close before you even have a chance to see it say please see (server forums), and today I was trying to play on the new gungame FF and when i tryed to bring up the motd not only did it crash the motd but also my console and my chat box! Has anyone else been having the same problems and or is this something we need to take a look at?

The motd should clear out after 30 seconds. However when you type motd it is supposed to open in a new window all the other commands such as rules do. I see that valve must have fucked with the motd command to break it so I will need to program a different way to deal with the command then likely by placing a delay after execution.

Was wondering why it was stuttering and looking all weird.. GG Valve...gg..

I have not seen it shuttering, when does that happen?
