The deathstar escape map changes gravity but it is not reset once the map finishes. This can can give zombies an advantage on subsequent maps. It would be great if this could be corrected. I don't remember it always being this way but as it is right now we have to rely on an admin to come in and fix gravity after playing deathstar.

I apologize if this belongs in the map configuration section. It's more of a post-map configuration than a configuration for a particular map which is why I'm posting in the general ZM area.

It would only do this if the map ended durring the part when the grav is changed b/c if you notice it only changes the grav durring particular parts of the map.

No, but I have considered getting admin again since I find myself on a lot.

It's happening frequently which leads me to believe that deathstar ending during the relatively short low gravity portion of the map isn't causing this problem. The only correlation I've found is that deathstar was the previous map but I don't recall if it was rtv'd and then the map change happened at the "wrong" time. I suppose the other possibility is that an admin is changing the map during this period. I assume that if the server crashes then gravity is set back to normal / default levels.

It doesn't look to me like deathstar has been played since ~noon EST and gravity is still at 615...

So I pulled the demo for the last time deathstar was played and the map didn't end on what I believe to be the lower gravity portion (outside and can view space while making the run to the final hold point before heading to the ship), but I'm unsure how to check what gravity was set to on the previous map... is the response from the sv_gravity command accurate during demo playback?

The original deathstar set the gravity at the very beginning of the round but never changed it back.

We have been having problems with the gravity for the last 2 days guys sorry I have been really busy at work so i have not been able to post much or even play, But when we go to any map that changes the in game gravity it is not reserting back anymore unless and admin does this them self, the other day i came on just because someone was complaning about a person cade breaking and when i came in the map was 420 beachstrike and the gravity was at 700...? after i changed it i went to work. When i got home later that night was about 3-4 in the A.M my time the gravity was at 675? I dont know what is doing this but when I have time I will look deeper into it.

Again sorry I have not been on everyone, also i will get to the map votes as soon as posable.
