Why has no one watched the demo? (said the guy who didn't watch the demo, HA!) For the record, Rico has actually been playing in the GG server quite a bit as of the last few months.

Also, mishoo, just ignore anyone hating on you in this thread. Considering no one has downloaded the demo, and so no one has any idea what happened other than probably you and Ricochet, there's no reason to even entertain their pointless comments.

Can you explain to us what happened? I agree with Steamer here, you've always been a pretty reasonable guy in my experience and I've enjoyed playing with you.

Will to be honest I just go banned without knowing the reason. I got a guy telling me i am wall hacker like 3 - 4 times and suddenly got banned. the never left and joined back for more points nothing.

I see. Well, to be honest I'm not entirely certain how the process goes if a clan permabans you for suspected hacking. I would think they would still have to go through the proper channels for a permaban to be issued, but the way things are handled around here with clan members, I could be completely wrong in that assumption.

In any case, unless there's a good reason for you to be banned, I hope your request gets the proper service. Can someone poke Rico and have him stick his head in here?

The unban rules are the same as the heirarchy. If a clan member bans then only they or someone higher (Jigs or Zero) can undo it. Other clan members could but they usually leave it alone unless the clan member in question doesn't respond for quite a bit.

That wasn't really what I meant. I was referring to the need for a ban thread to be posted, voted on and a permanent ban issued before it 'stuck' on IBIS servers in all cases I've seen thus far. The question was, if a clan permabans you, are they above this procedure?

No no, I get that mishoo, but since he's clan, he may have the power to do that. That's ultimately the question I was seeking clarification on. We'll have to wait until a big dog weighs in on it. As for your unbanning I think you'll have to wait for Rico himself to come in and explain before we get further on that, sounds like anyway.

Well typically if you issue out a permanent ban, you would usually follow up with a post. I believe no one is really above that procedure... But in all actuality his ban states that he was "Exploiting the Server", which he has only had one other ban for at an earlier time (which was invoked by myself) for 30 minutes. (Repeating violation) A permanent ban can be removed if the clan it gets approved. I personally believe that the permanent ban was a little overkill for what ever Mishooo did, unless he was hacking.

I've sent Ricky Bobby the thread through steam message. Like JayDubs said, we will have to wait...

Clan can ban people just outright, and I don't think I've ever seen one over turned unless they were at fault about it or at least two other clan members or a higher up said something about it. These are the ones that have bled sweat and tears for IBIS so they are allowed a lot of latitude. Ask R@pedollars about drunk nights.

You are suspected of wall hacking. When confronted in game you didn't deny it. I will review the demo tonight be absolutely certain. If I can't verifiably prove it then your ban will be lifted. I'm not above admitting when I am wrong. I can tell you that my bans usually stand up to scrutiny. I have a proven track record. The exploiting the server part was a finger slip. He was banned for wall hacking.

I wonder, though, why you didn't deny it after being told I say you looking through the walls at players. You also were able to line up some pretty unbelievable shots on me through VERY narrow shooting windows.

Its also interesting that you posted a cirular demo when you were banned from shotty_mia...

rico i have been playing ibis and counter strike for ages. people call me wall hack a lot. But what can I do I didn't deny it because the dude it's not his 1st time saying that. So im not bothered about him just say ya i am wall hack to make him happy.

I have viewed the 6:52 gg_aim_shotty_mia demo to make sure I didn't pull the trigger too soon. It turns out my instincts and eyes were correct. I caught you without even having to use mat_wireframe. The evidence is even more damning for you with mat_wireframe on.

Here are the tic moments where I KNOW you cheating. At most moments you looks right through a wall at someone and then pre-aimed and just waited for them to emerge.

Wow, this comes as quite a shock. I didn't review the demos myself, but I trust Rico's judgement. mishoo, go hack somewhere else. I am disappoint. :headache:

In all honesty, after watching 2 demos, I'd say it most definitely not obvious (or not obvious to me anyways). I'm not going to question the legitimacy of this ban (as I have no rights), but personally, I'd have to be between borderline inconclusive to pretty decent wh hiding (25k in shotty probably would be it for me). Spacetower was not too bad and the most obvious one you didn't listen (IMO) whereas for shotty, I'd say 12800 and the next round (16000) were close to worst ones as the pre-fire was extremely obvious (compare it to 22k and 25k where the pre-fire was very different and where he knew the other behind the box with no radar or other means to know someone was there.) , although understandable due to the map (while also pointing that he acted different in 18000 vs 6600).

Also, IMO, it's a bad idea to call out a hacker out in public unless if you ban hammer him at that specific time. (the remaining few ticks were rather interesting to watch, tho)

Just watched the entire Aim Shotty demo, and the instance where Ricky states Mishooo was hacking could have been pure luck. Due to the fact that Mishooo was going bottom left every round except for that one round, afterwards he continued the bottom left again up until he was banned. I honestly saw nothing that looked like hacking... But that is just my opinion, and my opinion does not hold much weight around here.

you need to watch his demos with sv_cheats 1 and mat_wireframe 1 enabled.

If you can't see that he is looking at players through the wall then you can't see.

Just my opinions.

4000 = Nil
6000 = Radar (fire and team), gun peak at wall.
12800 = Could see the one guys edge of gun, the kill on you though, that was prefired and you happened to run into it. That's some damn good luck or outright hax.
13900 = meh
14800 = meh
22400 - 22700 = First kill, slightly traced, wally, second kill looked like legit walling, the guy wasn't in view or on radar before hand.....
23000 = Can be blamed on radar, still, wally.
26900 = I'm done looking, skimmed through the rest, damnit mishooo.

Another good one lost to teh hax.
