I would murder babies to get FiOS. I clearly cannot recommend it, however, having never tried it before, but 100Mbps to my door sounds so Goddamn sexy.
I can tell you that cable Internet (which is what I assume Cox is offering you) is unreliable. We have Comcast here in Georgia and that shit goes in and out like satellite TV. I use AT&T personally, and while their nightly peak traffic shaping sucks balls, the service NEVER goes down, which I almost require since I work remotely quite often.
If you get FiOS, please let us know how it is!

Fios > Cox
I prefer my Comcast over fios here, it's cheaper and almost as fast and reliable in my area. Mainly because it's a bit cheaper in the package. Fios is less "commie" though.

As a FiOS user, I say it is better than Cox. I have a 25/5 connection though.

Just ordered the 50/25 connection.
Entire Triple Play including the Extreme HD TV for just under 69 a month (30 bucks off a month due to my connection).
Let yall know soon

The thing with FiOS is when you order 50/25, you get JUST that. No more. Every time I did a speedtest, I had 23-25.5/4-5.5.

Verizon also is a shit isp from a privacy standpoint. Actually one of the worst, They dont ask for warrants, they dont tell users whats going on, they will never go to court on your behalf (alot of companies do, hell even comcast does sometimes)
If you believe that your mail is something that should not be searched through without a warrant, why think of your packets any differently.

Fios is the shit, and what are you talking about 50/25 is what you get? That's the service Owns and I have, and we consistently can reach 60-65mbps down and 35mbps upload on speedtest.
I've had Verizon FIOS since it came out in my area, around 2008 and have had nothing but impeccable speeds and service (both over the phone and Online Live Chat) from them. Now I agree Verizon has made some shitty moves when it comes to customer privacy. I'll wait until that Google Fiber comes to the tri-state area before I switch to anything else though.
