Sound staging

I just hopped on to play some CSS, I dont know how recent of an issue this is but I could not trust my ears for shit. The sound staging was all fucked up. I could not tell where the fuck people were shooting from or walking from sound. It was really disorienting.

This was on the tree house map on the GG server.

Im using stereo speakers, not a headset. But I used to always play like this.

Could be that you somehow got used to a real sound stage and not a crappy one sounds bad?

Also could be your DAC is messed up or sound settings poorly configured thus effecting sound stage.

Has the location of the speakers changes or anything else in the setup/enviroment. Dramatic changes in humidity and tempature can also cause this issue although very unlikely indoors.
