Hello, and welcome to the next Mafia Game presented by Blade and Nemesis.

Scene and roles will be a mystery until we have all players signed up. we will take whoever wants to play (Blacks need not apply) and we will try to accommodate everyone interested.

Make sure u have 1 person sending all the info to keep track of wordings... last thing u wanna do is have 2 sets of rulings based on the wording ...

also, i suggest running every possible scenario beforehand and assume the worst could happen with the rulings and try to make sure the rules fit.
i know this doesnt seem like it worked for ur benefit before nem, but believe me, better pre-emptively safe before the game starts than sorry..


that being said, i cant wait to see what u guys have...

and anyone else wants TOM to fucking play? he's sitting on his high mafia throne after he modded the first game and hasn't appeared since! so yeah... i wanna bash heads with the guy and see how he thinks or what he thinks gd moves are in the game...

Come to think of it, Hallwanger's latest account logs on relatively frequently too and I'm sure Haxor keeps an eye on things so he can help us when the new world order comes, I'm sure he'd be great at a game where things aren't always as they seem.

Tom you have to realize that people here are impatient. If we made Day rounds like 1 week, then the game would never finish and people would be tempted to leave.

Yeah people want time to talk, but hell, even like 12 hours into any given night people are already hounding the mod to start the next day. If you make each day a fortnight and each night a week, the game will never end and people will hate it. And no deadline at all just has a lack of action since there is not real timeframe in which they need to start talking.

K, nvm. In mu last game, i gave everyone an open ended day and somewhat long night so that ppl dnt think that the mod is pushin them. Look at how long day 2 went....: 3 days of useless circular arguments and insults growing... Once i gave them 24 hours, ppl started doing shit. Same with night actions, 6 hours in and people were bitching to me that they want day to start already when i was still 3 actions short .... People want the illusion of ample flexible time but they all know that a reasonable deadline keeps people in check more than a week-long open ended deadline... Thats my 2 cents on it

The first days always take longer. As we progress through the game things speed up. As long as there is valuable discussion we will most likely let things continue.

Expecting the first days to be the same length as the later ones is ridiculous. The first days will last half a week while the later ones will obviously be shorter. There will be a time limit but it won't be revealed now.

However, with that said, night lengths will be strictly measured.

i told him that usually deadlines are open if there's progression and only put when no activity or circular reasoning happens... but he wouldn't bite, saying that ur rules posted state that deadlines are prompt.
