Reason: I understand i have not been active for almost a year now, i also understand some of you detest me. I would like it to be known that i am interested in ULA, though i have not been in servers i have tried to make time on my deployment to DL demos of the tougher bans and review them. It is ...well was the most i could do at the time. I will be home in less then a month and plan on being very active again. I do not think activity will be an issue once i arrive back stateside. Id also like to address the matter regarding how some of you feel about me. The past cannot be changed, who i am has.. Drastically. Iv become a much better leader and understand full values of responsibility. The old DJ Mikey cannot be found in me anymore. I dont know, apparently deployments change people, at least that is what they say anyways.

I feel like my new found level of leadership could be an extremely valuable asset here at IBIS.

I hope there is at least a shred of hope for a chance at becoming something more within this community.

Note: Due to my inactivity, i am aware some of you may only remember me before leaving. That is fine, i do not expect this to be to serious until after i get back into the servers. Im simply posting this to let it be known that i am interested in a ULA position and will come back guns blazing with what seems like a fresh new start.

Yes, having been given a team leader position for the deployment, i have had my fair share of responsibilities.

Our replacement unit is 100% functional.. im literally doing nothing all day tell a flight out of this dump.

Seeing as how im coming home to a full time job, ill probably not have alot of time to drink but deff feel weathered enough to strike fear in innocent children.

Funny thing is you try harder and are more involved then some people still home that think they want the position. I kinda just want to see how you act in game anymore. Even your demeanor on the forum has changed noticeably. If it's as stand up in game as forum, well I kinda see a decent possible choice in the future.

I'm going to be honest with u mikey... When you first applied back in the day, i was one of the few that REALLY didn't want you in ULA just because I was affraid how you'd use your power.
And because sometimes you're iffy on ban requests, making the wrong calls when it's not obvious.

But here is me still being honest... I've actually seen some improvement in you, and I really want you to be posting on ban threads more often when you come back from deployment.

You don't get a +1 from me bcos my vote means jack shit, but this is me wishing you luck so that you become a decent admin that people aren't affraid to be around.

There may be hope for you yet...

you know, before id of probably attempted to defend myself with some snotty response. Im not going to though, as you have always made it clear that as long as i breath, you will loath me. That is fine. im aware that no decision will come any time soon, as i have yet to return home. I have yet to jump into the servers and reintegrate back into this community. What does stand true is my relentless attack on learning more from ban threads that proved to be more difficult to conclude. Seeing as you have 0 experience in regards to the situation i am in, i understand how you might not expect this last year to have changed me even just a little. You sit back and be you, while i tackle this head on.

I appreciate the hope you have in me! I have spent alot of time reflecting back on those times and have become to realize that it wasn't so much of a drinking problem but rather, an immaturity and authority problem. My behavior was much different inside vs outside the servers and know that i cant be so socially sporadic in regards to my given surroundings at the time.
