My suggestion's pretty simple really... why not implement a cool-down period before rock the vote becomes available to the players, perhaps 5-10 minutes after changing maps? It's pretty annoying at times when people being to spam in chat telling people to rtv the map immediately after we just started. It would work wonders if a cool-down can be put into place. Cheers :)

I do believe the functionality of 'rtv' has gone over your head. The very point of the mod is to enable players to change the map. Sounds like it's working as intended to me...?

We do have an RTV cool down, how ever its only one round at the start of the map, i could see why you would want this but the voice of the masses (or Trolltards if you would) out weight the voice of the few so I do not see us putting in that long of a count maybe 5 min would be good I think.

I agree, most people want to play some maps that are just glitched out, ruin the Zombie/Human Barricade or evading experience, some maps just don't even make sense and are too overplayed.

I agree with that though. It's painful watching players vote for maps that have obvious glitches in 'em and the worst part about it is when they don't wanna change maps and the others begin leaving. I guess the "voting out poll" for broken maps is indeed an excellent idea in this situation.

The concern I was focusing on though was the fact that even good maps are being constantly labelled as bad and even in lila panic, people begin to shout "rtv" and "this shit map" and "why did you guys choose this" , etc. I believe it's caused by the presence of two distinct groups of people playing on the server; Zombie Escape fans and Zombie barricade fans. The tension between the two always narrows down to mic spamming, chat spamming and rtv spamming, so much that it's just ridiculous when you join the server at the right time. Being in Aussie means I'm awake when the admins are not and it's usually the time where all the shenanigans occur.

The point of rtv is not to half to wait to change the map, but I agree that the rtv spam is annoying as hell. One round should be all it takes for the people to decide, this map is broken or really terrible for this number of players. The only amount of cooldown that should be set, if at all, would be 5 minutes as if gives players a chance to see the map for themselves, and to make the spamming useless. It also allows minimal time for the bad maps.

Yup that's fair. Or maybe it could be two rounds at most. If the map really is bad, the two rounds end quickly because the humans would all perish at lightning fast speed. The only problem that may arise is if a troll decides to hide somewhere and wait it all out.

People RTV cause a map blows, or its played to much. Making people play the map because you don't like seeing it change quickly is pointless. Unless your internet is so shitty it takes you 20 minutes to start once the map changes, what the hell is the big deal? Maybe you need to realize that people don't want to play a map for a reason, you may not understand it but too bad.
