If you change the gravity to -1000 it WILL crash the server for a considerable amount of time. DON'T DO IT! 200-400 already fucks up the server enough. Leave Gravity alone.

If it doesnt crash it, it will mess up the gravity of objects even after a map change. This has been noted in the past.

I really didn't like it when admins such as Internet Badass would change the gravity all the time, it really ruined the game. So yes, don't change it period.

You know how you fly? You throw yourself at the ground and miss.

Also, the gravity changing command is actually useful when the server needs a restart.

Ya that is true. I have had to change the gravity to restart server. I have found that -9999999 is the best value to quickly crash it for a restart. :lmao:

Just this last week, I had to tell one of the admins how to restart the server when the physics were messed up.

Jigsaw, you know as well as I do, we never do it unless we absolutely have to when you or Zero are no where to be found and the server needs a restart.

Woh wait a min. We haven't messed with gravity since like... well I can't remember. Last time I used it is when another admin messed we gravity and we had to do a restart when you guys weren't around to help. :(

Actually we both discourage the use and refuse to the mess with the gravity when asked too.

So please don't take away my rcon powers. How else will I spam porn to annoying mic spammers :(

The last person to mess with the gravity command and abuse it was Internet Badass. I think Tec did too. The admins these days don't abuse to the point of no one having fun and half the server complaining.

All we've used the gravity command for was to restart the server when you and Zero couldn't.

Maybe admins shouldt have some powers gravity would be one. Maybe we can get teleport back So I can not steal the staff in mines of moria even if the door doesnt open <.<

Not all admins are created equal. Look back at Tec and Internet Badass abuse threads. Some admins should have these powers for they can use them to help the server when Zero and Jigsaw are on vacation.. Like they are now.
