So i am starting this thread to try and keep up with all the problems that have been poping up on the Zm server so i can report it to the proper need to know peoples.
Ze_aperturescience is letting people start with parachutes and the knock back on zombies is not working on this map at all!
Ze_death_star is making the gravity on all maps played after it drop from 800 to 730-750 and dose not change back untill an admin fix's the problem!
Bunny hopping is again active on the server making escape maps vary zombie win friendly and we have seen a rise in Bhop scrips again on the server since this happend!
The zombie class infected or number 3 on the zombie pick list is glitching from time to time on cade maps and will get no knock back at all what so ever! even shotgun to the face or knifing to the back will not move it!
If anyone else see's anything that seems a miss, maps with time needing to be fixed or glitchs that should not be but are plz post them here with video or pics if you can people.

I've seen the gravity issue with death star for a while now. As for the parachute being on during aperture science, I've joined before (can't remember what ze) and wondered why chutes were on, especially when there wasn't an admin present. The only addition I have to your list is there are a number of players complaining about not being able to knife as a zombie. Observed in spectate, said zombie will appear with arms and legs spread as though they are driving a vehicle but clearly they aren't. Beyond the gravity issue with death star there seems to have been a number of glitches recently...
Will look into it, also ZM server needs some updates the others got last night and so I will release them for ZM as well once I see a chance to :wtg:

Can't wait to see these problems resolved and the Zm server updated. I've experienced and seen that glitch as well jimmay. People do fly around in T pose and your knife just stands there like your preoccupied with something. Seems to happen at random intervals also, seeing as it only happened once to me right before i was going to stab omega =P. But it seems to happen right before a zombie goes in for a kill.

that is great news to hear, Oh i also missed this one but one out of about 15 people when turned to zombie will not even get a knife now!! this has been going on a lot as of 5 days ago.
Will look into it, also ZM server needs some updates the others got last night and so I will release them for ZM as well once I see a chance to :wtg:
Updated to latest sm and mm last night. Let me know if this changes anything. If not I will need to make more targeted changes to the individual plugins and configurations next week. :wtg:

thx for updating, as for now i have had reports of the zombies not getting knifes when spawning from time to time still, and the knock back on any ZE map glitchs still from time to time, also apsience is still messed up as humans start with parachuts and the time is not set to 8 min and the knock back on this map does not work almost ever. I have also been told that shroom and shadowmose times are not set right again they both need to be 12 min spawn round time!

I thought it was an issue with having teleported on specific maps. :wtg:, but it is occurring on any map. corpsman and timmy had this problem too. not sure what the cause is..

Typically a restart in zm server will crash a few more times afterwards. It's been going on for a while. I typically stay away from a restart unless physics is totally messed up (vendi and props jumping around) or the server is horribly lagging/glitching.
Have you noticed the knife issue even after ZERO did the zm update? I was on for a while yesterday, didn't encounter that at all.

Hey Phil, Yeah Friday during the better part of the day the knife glitch was still happening. nothing reported today, though I will keep an eye/ear out for it

This is not a glitch guys, the zombies are not getting the knife when they spawn or are turned, some how the weapon coding when a zombie is turned or spawns is not always going off so it is something within the Zm mod files that will need to be fixed. as u can see above i have all ready listed this in the need to be resolved area more then once, We also need to take a look at the knock back on Infected gray zombie number 3 in the menu still as his knock back even after the update is still glitching from time to time, also for some reason the deformed class number 7 in the menu is also getting the same speed as a normal zombie now this is a big problem as it is letting deforms move objects faster then the other zombs as well somehow!
Keep a look out everyone and thx for all the help!

The running speed on the Aperture Science escape map is glitched. After the initial spawn where you jump the box's to press the button is where it occurs. It's a good 2-3 times increase in speed for humans and zombies making it almost impossible to defend there. Also even though it has nothing to do with glitch's on the server. I was wanting to request that there be an option made to extend the amount of time we can play on a map. A main example would be Shroomforest escape, we barely get past level 2 before we have map votes to change the map and not everyone wants to.

Just played ze_deathstar. the following map still has messed up gravity, does not reset after a round or so. either the admin has to or when the server reset/crashes it gets fixed. Also so far no problems with the knife stabbing as previously mentioned.

I experienced this today and indeed right as i was turned my knife wasn't working. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but i was tagged while parachuting. If similar people report having done the same it might be a source of the problem.
Update: Happened to me again just now and i was parachuting as well, strongly thinking there might be a connection. Also i stabbed a guy parachuting and he went into T pose right after.

I managed to get a demo of the Hell Escape glitch you mentioned awhile back omega. Nothing knocked the zombie up the tower he was probably spawned there and turned into a zombie. This guy was spawned there directly at the beginning of the round not sure why but it was the last round so that might have something to do with it.

Update: Also happening on this warped escape map. This player was spawned at the end of the map at the beginning of the round. No clue why this keeps happening. Also attachments for whatever reason are being a huge pain in my arse. How can i delete them and any tips on using them?

Map Ze_test_skyrim_escape, the zombie is spawning at 8:48 insted of 8:32 also the hold point right after the dragon is not holding the zombies long enouph for the humans to set up to hold the next spot, the humans have a 0% win chance as of right now with the settings as they are.

So the 3rd zombie (Infected class) has been glitching a crapton over the last week, we have been unable to come up with a reason why this class is glitching like it is but it is on almost all maps Ze/Zm makes no diff what kind of map, but they will glitch and became almost 100% knock back free even a shotgun to the face at .0000001 meters away they move back about one step, we played on Zm_firewall_aztec the other day and i even knifed one in the back and it moved no more then 1 meter away. We really need to take a look see as to why this is going on and fix it plz.

Lil_panic_beach_V2, there is a hiddin room on this map, that can normaly be opened over and over again, how ever it will not open more then once per round now, this was talked about in past threads, and I my self have been able to make it open more then once, but as of the last steam update it will no longer open again more then once!
I have looked all over online and all teh videos and other areas I looked all now say that lila_panicbeach_v2 is a one time open only? tho i know i have opend this room more then once, it just will not open more then once anymore!

I always thought it was one open only, which is why it is so cheap, however people claim to know a second way in but I have never seen anyone do it. When I play it, it's normally the first people in there and they stay they till the round ends, no one else gets in.

This tele is a one time thing, even before the update. There is however a way in, because I have seen a human go in, and then it failed because a zombie somehow got in. Not be opening the door (because I was guarding it) so i know I didnt open the door.
I don't think it's a glitch in the map from steam update. Is it a cheap spot because nobody know's how to get in? Yes, but a spot should not be deemed illegal because we are not able to find out how to get in again.
Again, I saw that spot fail with someone using the first tele. Why everyone doesn't know how to get in? Hence, it's called a secret spot.

First level of shroomforest, the butterfly glitched out and everyone fell off. This has been happening for awhile now i would guess a week maybe 2. But usually 1 person is left on it and the level is beaten. Today that didn't happen, also the butterfly came back but it just stayed there. We had to wait for the timer of run out for the ct's to win. Not sure if this is a common glitch/problem on the map but thought i'd report it.

It seems that not only is the number 3 zombie class (infectied) glitching from time to time, but the all the classes seem to be doing this from time to time. What happen's is just like the knife problem we had about 3 weeks ago that you were able to fix with the update u did Zero, When a zombie is in the air and is parachuting and someone knifes the zombie, or they are hit at just the right time, the knock back glitchs and the zombie becames 70-90% knock back avoidable, i mean u can shoot them with any gun or even knife them and they move about one or 2 steps back. Other things may be causing this glitch but we still have not been able to find out all that cause this effect to happen.
If anyone see's this glitch happen can you please get the demo and upload it so The people who need to see whats going on have a video of proof that would be great, and I will try and find the demo of when i had the glitch happen to me.

I have noticed that the stargate map seems to be having an issue with the player losing their "on Screen" weapon as well as the cross air. Players STFU And Strongfield can attest to this issue. I believe it has something to do with being in the tunnel at the end of the map when the round is over and or dying by rentering the stargate at the end of the map. I do not think there is anything that can be done, it's just unfortunate that the player has to leave and return for the error to correct itself.

I have also started seeing this happen to people, today when we played 420beachstrike a human spawned without a knife, and 3 people lost the weapons they had just payed for after walking away from spawn!

SO today we tested what is making the 3rd zombie class the infected glitch and no longer have knock back, I am 100% that it has something do to with the parachute's because I had someone play the class and stand on me after turned, they had normal knock back after 4 knifes. But after i had them use the parachute and shot or knife them the next knife or gunshot had 60% less knock back and about 2 shots with them having use parachute again a head shot at point blank with the m249 no longer had much knock back at all.
I think we need to really take some time and test this and see what we can do because it is really making this zombie class have a really uneven advantage on cade maps.
I will be looking over the code but there has not been anything changed with these things other than the valve updates. In addition for the knife issue I had released a script for when people turn to zombies for them to get knives but now I hear that humans sometimes do not get them?
I will try to get out a big update to the ZM core but it will take a bit of time b/c there is a crap ton of configuration changes. The plan is to hopefully get it live by the end of the week.

So today when playing on sorrento A zombie got shot in the head and insted of being knocked back like he should have water blasted all over the place (I think this may be what is making the glitch happen) it has since happend 3-4 times today, when this does happen the zombie does not have blood fly from the head only water and they have 0% knock back.

Not sure if it was brought up already, but the grenade effect on the server really messes up fps.. especially on maps like sorrento when 3 nubs throw a nade at the same time...
Also Omega I found players complain to me regarding bad knock back when I am straffing and getting shot in the head. not sure if that could also be a cause.
I have updated ZM as I think the issues were related to changes in SDK hooks witch should not be an issue on the latest version.

knock back on poison/fast zombies is up 900000% when knifed and 100% when shot in the head, the infected zombies are still low when knifed/shot, pred class now moves faster then they should, zombies are spawning without there knife again from time to time, and when zombies parachute they move 10% faster then before now.
Dont know what happend but this is what I and others have seen since the update, also zombies are still spawning at 8:50-8:45 giving humans only 10-20 seconds to start to run on some escape maps.

Thought it would be better to ask here instead of making a new thread. But is anything going to be done about the speed glitch/problem on the Aperture Science escape maps? Those maps are quite fun and was wanting to know if they're permanently like this till the next steam update or not.
The server isn't really configured to work with ze maps correctly.
