my guess is he extended it for your history, but that's to say nothing about whether or not the original ban was justified. in all likelihood the admin heard you say nigger and banned you. but again, no demo, and the call's gonna have to be made by maynard.

well it's there, maybe you need to have admin to see it. he doesn't need to provide proof though, since maynard extended the ban he took over responsibility for the ban, and since he's clan what he says goes.

I remember that ban, as I often troll through the ban list to see if anyone I normally see gets banned. You were banned for like 30 minutes for being an asshat, then Maynard extended it since you have like 8 bans for general douche baggery. Seems like once you lost your shield of protection from being an admin, people were more than glad to call you on your in game antics.

well nem does say directly to mut "being a nigger is not acceptable" and "you just need every opportunity to be a nigger", so while he doesn't directly say "YOU ARE A NIGGER" it's pretty obvious and it is directed at one person, and this sort of grey area isn't something i want people exploiting all the time. using a more passive verbiage doesn't constitute making it legal in my book. i support the original ban.

over the years, i've come to endure nemesis's shit, but i just want to point out that Nem used this EXACT same line once "directed" at me in the wcs server, and i remember the map was dolls, and both maynard and jeimezu (yes, pretty sure it was jeimuzu) were in game at the time, talking about some game.

Albeit they were drunk at the time (i love u maymay!), maynard did specifically point out to nemesis that this exact line DOES constitute DIRECTED racism at a player, even if he's using misleading words. And told nemesis to stop arguing while ahead.
Why do i remember this? because it was literally the first time i EVER heard maynard use his mic :P ( i know i know, GAYYYY)

so again, i got used to nem's shit, i find some of it hilarious now too, and i know my story snippet has no grounds on, but this is what happened, and i just wanted to point that out.

The only way to get rid of the grey area is to make it so either no racism is allowed period (nazi) or make it allowed and have those offended mute the person they are offended by. We are all adults here (mostly) we are old enough to learn to ignore other we get butt hurt by. I would think it best to rid of the racism rule and disrespect rule. Instead have the admin just tell people to mute.

The reason they invented ignoring / muting is so you don't have to put up with somebody over the internet. Though, there's multiple reasons why somebody doesn't get around to doing so on CSS. They never had to use it. They don't know where it is. Laziness. Abusing the microphone icon that displays over your head every time you key your mic.

Though - as much as I want to say it, we SHOULDN'T have the need to mute people through the player list. Feel free to say whatever you want, but if somebody doesn't like it, they are gonna say something about it. And if they have the power you don't, expect to be muted if they don't like it either. That's my view on it.

I would suggest not doing it anymore, as if you keep getting banned, the length will only increase and you have quite a few bans already.
