2ooL, banned??

I wrote this in another thread, but I thought I would put it where it belonged.

NYSCO banned me for no reason, what happend was, we were playing on Italy, I was running around the side and was attacked by CO with a nade. I said, "nice nade" and I turned around and shot once at his feet, he responded with "wasnt it", and he shoots me in the face with an awp. I called him a bitch after I slayed him and he was like o really, so I knew a ban was coming. I left, and then later on after doing some stuff, I came back on and went back to the pub. After playing for a little, I was killed by NYSCO, and I was like wtf dude. He said "thought i forgot". I told him to just fuck off, and then I was banned. There were many other ibis admins and members playing at the time, including whytboiz and Uncle June. Now everybody knows that that was not a legitimate reason to ban me. And Zero, you know me, weve played together for a long time, and I was there helping you out when you were making changes to the pub. So, can I be unbanned?

how long was the ban for? I vote 2ooL should be unbanned he's a good guy

We're gonna have to wait to CO Post on this matter,even if the banned was 1 day or 7 day, its not the point, he was banned by a IBIS Member Admin, and then he turn around and had another admin unbanned him, without even pos.ting about it first.

I peronally think that 2ool should not have been perma banned. I mean honestly, I don't agree to the ban period, but yeah, it should have just been like a temp one so he could "think" about what he did. But yeah, Dual is right, an admin should not unban someone after another admin banned that player, because admins are supposed to co-opererate and stick together, like a family. But i really hope 2ool gets unbanned and gets back into the server ASAP. I really enjoying playing with him, he is a very good competitor.

what do you wanna do about it zero? i just did the perm cause of the forums waiting for your orders.

What I want is a reason from all of these admins who baned him first why they banned him. It is clear that he has been causing problems that have had multiple admins baning him. I do not think that any of these problems will warrant a perma ban but we need to see if there is an emerging pattern that needs to be corrected. :smirk:

2ool is a cool dude and a very fun person to play with. I played with him over the years and I know for a fact that this is something that almost never happens. IF it does, then someone had to start it.

The problem the first time is that I was called in to ban one of those spinning hacks. He had his name the same as that first guys, I banned the wrong guy first but couldnt get the guy before he left. When he came back he was named as 200l and I banned the wrong guy again. I unbanned the 2 mistakes I made a month ago. If there is a way to distinguish between two same name players I do not know it without memorizing ID's. I believe if we can have the server prevent 2 of the same names I wouldn't make thta mistake again.

Yeah I remember that deprodigy, you had me laughing, because I was like wtf dude in friends chat and you said its cool come back in I banned the hacker and I was liked DUDE that was me lol. Anyways, come on, why is no other person that plays in ibis coming in here and helping out in the situation. Everyone knows that I dont ever TK, or disrespect the admins. Im cool with everyone, even dutch and Phalanx, who lol, I use to not like. But thats the past, and were good now. The people that were in the server at the time should step up and say something. CO Tked me twice, and I never tked, just thought Id say that again.

Ok, this last ban was the result of him mouthing off to CO. I think it is very apparent by how crazy everything has gotten that he knows not to do it again. This offense is not one that warrants a perma ban, also those past bans seem to be mostly minor issues and or mistakes. Now both of you need to try to work things out with each other and :chillpill:

This is not how I usually think of ether of you two acting so you guys need to try to br friends and just :chillpill: :wtg:

What about the same name problem Zero? Is there a way to prevent that? I thought in the past if they joined a server with the same named they would become "chicken" or something.

Not a problem Zero, and deprodigy, there really isnt a way to prevent that. Its a type of hack, you have the option to copy peoples names that way you cant be banned, as you saw. Im not sure if you can ban people by steam id since you have mani admin, but that would probably be the only way.
