Two suggestions:

1. People have been saying that the explosion animation caused by grenades has resulted in more server crashes. Could we just remove the animation and go back to how it was before.

2. Add some knock back to the grenades. Now people can just throw grenades however they want now with no punishment and almost guaranteed to set zombies on fire, slowing them for 15 seconds seems kind of OP. It takes away from the art of grenade throwing.

36 seconds of firetime was op. knockback is fine imo there is a reason we did this. and it works and zombies still got plenty chances left besides fail nade option boost to catch humans.

Not just server crashes but player client crashes. I personally crash quite often when there are a lot of burning zombies in one place.

Failnades were fun but they made some maps practically impossible. Adding even a small amount of knockback to them can still screw the humans badly and it's not just the idiot who threw it but his entire team who loses when that happens. Of course if they could make it so failnades work on a few really easy maps like Deathstar/Icecap/ATIX/Voodoo but not the harder ones that would be nice.

I know what ya mean, I've crashed a few times myself.
Kinda mixed on the knockback tho. For humans its great, for zombies it sucks.

1. I agree on server crashing/client side crashing because of mass nades/effects from nades. Can we 100% prove the crashes come from this? No, but it is a contributing factor.

2. Fail nades is the #1 reason everyone hated ze maps. Disabling fail nades has increased the number of players in IBIS ZM drastically (almost full server every single night now). We don't need anything more or less from nades or knockback, as a good zombie will still find a way to fail the humans. - Nothing needs to be done with nades in knockback or time on fire.

Failnades are fine.

The grenade "c4" animation should be removed. I know for a fact that it is a contributing factor to the user-client crashes. Other servers that don't have this animation are always perfectly fine, especially the 64 player ZE servers.

well. i dunno about you guys...but my client's crashed 6 times tonight. i've played maybe an hour...so it's crashing about every 10 mins on average, usually when multiple nades are going off.

This sure is gonna mess up ZE hard maps night if the server crashes on level 3 of Skyrim or something and sends us back to ATIX. Fixing the nades before then would be nice.

yes there needs to be done something it is annoying as hell these crashes
