Limit Mics?

I can try to limit the number of people who can talk at once in order to reduce lag and crashes. I can make it so this limit does not effect admins and reserved slot users. Other than them I was thinking 5 can talk at a time without much of an issue.

What do you all think?

I would say five at once is more than enough to accommodate normal zm chatter, any more than that and you might as well be listening to brown noise.

5 is enough. But zero can u make it so that if a guy attempting to talk when the cap is reached that they get notified that they are muted? Like not display their talk logo? Or on-screen display?


Also, can u put a 30s TIME CAP on a guy holding the mic down after that duration? This will prevent spammers of continuously holding down the mic and prevent others from talking... 30s continuous talk is wayyyyy more than needed per button press I think.

Most of the time when 5 ppl talk at the same time is when a cade or group gets tagged and ppl start screaming. Im for anything with less mic usage lol

Agreed. 5 per team with no alktalk. 5 all. Minus admin reserved. Hell, that's a new bonus for reserved. Make it server wide at that.

Sounds fair, 5 per side when alltalk=0 and 5 total when alltalk=1 minus admin's reserved. Another incentive to have reserved spot.
