I've been playing on IBIS servers since 2009 off and on till 2011, stopped playing then picked back up in 2013.

Over 2 years. I had admin back in 2009 all the way up until around June of 2011, then got admin again on 9 Nov 2013.

Why did you order admin
I ordered admin with the intent of supporting the servers through donation and to make sure people abide by the rules. Now one of my main goals is to catch the dirty rotten hackers that ruin everyone else's fun with their no skill having asses.

Why do you want to be an upper level admin
I want to be an ULA to continue helping new admins and guiding them in the right direction, but also to provide discipline and punishment to those admin who don't want to abide by the rules. I also love swinging the banhammer on hackers, and not a better feeling than perma banning hackers.

Note: My goal is to continue to strive for clan(even though I would probably die of old age before it got approved:wtg:). I was apart of AsteriskGaming for a long time on GMOD, working my way from regular admin, senior admin, basic moderator, moderator, head moderator. Head Moderator essentially like being Clan here. Didnt answer to anyone apart from the owner and co-owner.(Not that this has much to do with IBIS or CSS) Also I know my ban thread count is low, but Phil keeps taking all my bans :banghead:

I may be a good admin but that isn't the only thing they look for. Tbh I know what I need to do to get there, I just want to make sure I at least have a foot in the door before I get it shut on me. So with that being said, what bit of free I get I need to go through some late night demos. I hear the scum comes out at night when the good kids sleep.

+1 Rounded admin. Getting better at catching hacks as time moves on. Could use some work with difficult ones, but you'll get into that eventually.

+1 for Jesus. He's been putting a lot of time in bans and his research, getting better with catching hackers, been stepping up and been taking time reviewing demo's and putting effort into ban threads.

glad u mentioned my ol' bans lol...

unfortunately... seeing that valve is a bunch of cunts, i dont think he can observe the demos of those bans... but there were some research based ones tho that he told me that he has already been reading up on... i dnt know why but he's stalking me... it's scary.



that being said, i see potential in him, im giving him a +0.5 for now just because im waiting to see something insanely gd, like how brett and phil did just before they got in ula.

The protocol is way to long and old. It's bureaucrat utopia here. Cut to the chase and make decisions. you don't need months to determine if someone is good enough or not. This system of how ULA are being appointed is also something that needs some reworking. I mean if the people who are active right now and are online on a regular basis say he is good then promote him already. If I would hire an employ for work because I need one, I don't wait months either to see if someone is good. As a good manager which some Clan members are you got a good judgement and eye for that, you can see it in a week if someone is good. That also is a skill on itself, if you need months to determine if someone is good, there is something wrong with that judgement.

All this isn't looking good at all, it only shows that when it comes down on making decisions this system fails hard and reflect bad at this community.

So wrong Man. The reason is because ulas have a responsibility when it comes to decision making regarding bans. It has literally ZERO to do with how popular or good as players or admins, it helps but that's not the reason there are rules to begin with. Ula is not a title, its a responsibility to know and identify (to the best of ur judgement) hackers and innocents and permanent bam accordingly. U cant just have anyone jumping around banning ppl left and right for thinking they are right. It takes months for the process to work because the position is very exclusive and selective to a very handful so that there will be coordination and responsibility is weighed more individually rather than having too many ulas around. And this process will take its time based on can't decision to monitor and assess if someone is READY (note read, not "worthy") for the ula volunteer JOB, not title.


Also in ur company analogy. If everyone who did ok in a month and had a couple ppl that are butt buddies supporting them for a bit and ur boss just upgrades EVERYONE to that high position job, then that job in itself is no longer something you look up to and set goals towards, since any fucker can get it, just like how current admin is. And soon enough u will have so many ppl in high ula jobs in ur company that are either constantly stumbling on each other toes or simply suicidal since they have nowhere to go from there since that's the best they will ever be if they were that easily brought in without clan weighing in if that person will be productive for ibis. It's not about u and ur title. It's about ibis and the responsibility you put towards it.
