A legend he may be. But he just left abruptly while we were sleeping. He didn't even say goodbye. Did he give one thought to how WE would feel when we woke up in the morning and that he was gone forever. No Pooter does not love us anymore. So we shouldn't love Pooter.

I've read three of your posts today, all were pointless. What the hell is going through your mind when you decide to respond to threads?

If you'd been paying any attention Pooter left with a lot of us to form GS-ZM a separate server/group because a few Zombie mod players felt picked on and treated like shit for only playing Zombie Mod on IBIS. We asked the clan and zero to start a separate clan type group called IBIS ZM but there were concerns about how the group would be policed so that we wouldn't give a bad name to the site/clan. Many members split apart to form a seperate server... This group later shut down the zombie mod server to start playing Left 4 Dead and Insurgency. While some still talk of bringing it back this summer I don't see it happening... due to issues of time and money. I myself made some enemies here at IBIS simply because I followed my friends Cujo, Pooter, and Stamp. Pooter was the best Zombie mod player Ive ever played with but even he has moved on to other games...

He's good at cadding, but as i recall for escape maps he was horrible. BUT no1 is perfect, but pooter was kinda the quite guy who like to Relax and just have fun. The GS-ZM members are acceptable players, who i can see making a comeback in the future :icon_mrgreen:

Demonater10 is the latest IBIS troll. He's a troll on the forums and a troll in game. He's been banned and is now trying to wreak havoc in the forums.

He doesn't contribute anything to the IBIS community on the forums or in game. Hell, he likely contributes nothing to society in general.

Thanks... I would love to get alot of the old school guys back in IBIS to have some fun this summer...

dude we tried to get them to stay cause we knew their server wouldn't last. we offered alternative options to their zm clan tag, just nothing that would confuse admins from regs. I know some helped them with their server setup too. You are still happy though cause you know Ibis isn't going anywhere but up :)

Yea... I remember we were even allowed to start a IBIS-ZM group as long as we didn't wear the tag in game.

Through the whole thing I talked a lot with Zero (about every time he was on). Some feelings of certain members got hurt and they went ahead with the new server. It was fun while it lasted and I have no regrets...

Our server was a little more private which meant we never had the numbers of IBIS but we also kept a core group of players who were committed to having fun and following the rules. It was nice to know when you spent time on a cade no one would run up and throw a grenade... and no Mic spammers!

I know that there was drama that came about with a member of GS-ZM who still works on maps for IBIS and NYS C.O. but since then I have read in on a lot of problems that NYS has resolved and have nothing but respect for him.

I have been super busy with work and school... but I plan to get my 40+ hours of zombie mod in as soon as school is out for summer!!!

I know everyone who has been around long enough to even remember that time of the GS-ZM split have mixed feelings about it and us members... but most of the people who left to form GS-ZM started as IBIS players and left as IBIS Zombie mod admins...

who cares about zombie mod rankings. its not competative what so ever. i was the first few to connect to that server, and have been playing it since, so i know what im talking about.

we follow ur posts? these are OUR forums... we monitor everything that goes on here. we follow every thread.

I think all of you need to freshen up on your American history during WWII.

France was taken over by Germany during the Germans blitz through out western Europe. France fell to that mighty German war machine and was German occupied for almost 2 years. After the ungrateful events of pearl harbor, America entered WWII. America started by storming the beaches of Normandy and from there worked its way inland and across Europe, moving to the east towards Germany. Liberating country's that fell to Germany. France was liberated from Germany on August 25th 1944, when the U.S. and allied troops reached Paris.

Liberating a country just means; "to remove an occupying force and return the capital to the original government." America never took France from the french government and than returned it. We just removed Germany from France. America was in a race with the Russians to reach Berlin, the capital of Germany.

I rest my case.

Did not the German gov abolish the french gov, was not the point of Germany invading to make France Germany. Thus "France" was Germany. Therefore, we took over part of Germany that was previously France and then put a French gov in control. When the USSR took over parts of Germany they also got to do what they wanted with it. Except in their case they made those territories part of the USSR instead of giving the nations back to their original people.

Yes your are correct but I thought the topic was "If America ever took France from the French government".G Germany did remove the french government and replaced it with its own, but when the U.S. liberated paris, they removed the German government and returned the French government to power. thats the point... we took the land of france over, but we dont need nor want it. thus just handing it off to who ever did want it...

Yes but that doesn't mean the US was able to capture France.

1. They had Canadian, French, and UK soldiers to back them up.
2. The Germans had already gotten their shit rocked by the Soviets and had lost manpower after taking over the majority of Europe in the first place.


Either way, I didn't expect my statement to arouse such debate.
