First one was a headache to actually play. Story was good though.

Second one was a much better experience more fluid combat. Good story.

It is though they will be introducing tokens that allow you to add and subtract points from teams as well as team changing tokens.

i'd recommend it. excellent game. same engine as KoTR, and while the combat is...weird, you can get used to it pretty quick. And as Sin said, excellent story. if you start with the second, you'll miss a good ammount of backstory and character introductions.

Then they're both a pass. Not gonna suffer through the first one just to play the second. Same thing as mass effect.

mass effect sequels do a damn fine job of getting you up to speed

mass effect 1 was trash. i only completed it because i cheated my ass off to turn it into a walkthrough game. When i replayed ME2, i used a save editor to make the changes i wanted instead of replaying 1.
