Map: He started the flaming, raging, rant on predator_ultimate and icecap escape, and then force-changed the map to roy the ship before banning me.
Date & Time: 07/01/14 ~18:00 EST

He started taunting me saying he was going to make me a zombie, so I taunted him back, just regular human-zombie taunting on both of our behalf, but he seemed to take it personally (I died and he said it was his favorite part of his day so far). For probably five minutes he was talking trash, so I started to respond in kind. Then he said he was going to ban me (not mute, not kick, ban). I thought that was weird seeing as he didn't have an admin skin or the ibis tag, but besides that I had never even heard of the guy.

He kept telling me once the map changed he's going to ban me, and I say stuff like "Oh yeah tough guy, go ahead" while several other people in the server all tell him to leave it alone. This list includes: (='_'=)CoryAce9, Lava ☁Cloud☁, P a p i . R a c i s t, and The Cheshire Kitten [Purr]. He force-changed the map to roy the ship, re-appeared with the ibis tag and admin skin, and then continued to taunt me, telling we several times over the mic to disrespect him so that he could ban me. I couldn't even talk over him if I tried because he wouldn't leave me alone. He said stuff like this: "You don't have the balls to disrespect me." Then he banned me.


These are the rules that I'm finding him in violation of:
TOS #4 Use admin privileges sparingly and appropriately
TOS #9 Banning someone should only be used as a last resort to get a player to listen or to remove a hacker.(In other words mute a spammer do not ban him right away.)
General Server Rule VII. 2) Player continuously nags others and continues despite reasonable requests to silence


Please ask any of the players online at the time. Any of them will tell you that he was harassing and provoking me. If he had just dropped it and left me alone I would've been happy! I've played on ibis for probably 100 hours now and have never had any punishments delivered. My ban's probably already expired by now but that doesn't excuse his behavior.

A demo would clear things up with context of what happened, and actual proof what happened.
But from your screen shot, euronews does have his ibis.a tag on. And assuming he was senior admin, he has the right to choose any map he wants.

Here is the first map, predator, where the bulk of the action happened. The actual ban did not occur here but I feel like there's enough action anyway. I'll look through the other two dem files after some errands tonight:8634

The entire range of the conversation is 103,300 - 152,400. Here are some highlights though:

103,300 - 108,300 euro calls me a bitch as well as insulting another player
109,700 - 110,200 I replied in kind (This is the proof he cited previously for my ban; my response to his actions)
113,900 - 114,600 He taunts me
118,300 - 119,900 He taunts me again
126,400 Watch the typed chat, he wants "to ban this sack of shit"
133,800 - 134,800 He adds the ibis tag finally, still not acting like ibis though
137,400 - 140,400 He says God is looking down upon me, continues to be the primary aggressor
146,000 - 152,400 He says he doesn't care if banning me causes him to lose admin (typed message)
At 150,600 you can see me completely ignore his continued verbal abuse, but that doesn't stop him.

While it's true that he wasn't technically an admin at that time, if you watch the demo you see him say "I wanna ban this sack of shit ... I don't give a fuck if they take away my admin." If he wants to be treated separately when he's wearing the tag/skin and when he's not wearing the tag/skin, he needs to keep his grudges separate too. When I didn't let him walk all over me, and he carried that over to admin-world, he waived the right to keep his actions on predator separate. This is so important because he called me a bitch right off the freaking starting line, and I'm not a big enough fan of irony to accept getting banned for reciprocating after he continually taunted me.

It is not okay for a player who is not admin to harass me for the greater part of an hour, then purchase admin, taunt me, and then ban me when I retaliate. Simple as that.

I fully watched the entire demo of predator, ya'll suck at defending.
But the simple fact is, you are making an "Admin Abuse" thread. He was not admin at the time, so it is not admin abuse in predator.
What you are complaining about in predator is player on player dispute (temp ban section if you want something done with that).

I am on neither side here. I just pointed out the details so it makes it easier on clan to see what happened.

I handle ban sections, if you want something done, post in temp ban section. Your case and whining with predator right now is a temp ban case, not admin abuse.

Yep. Admins should treat others how they want to be treated. I personally find it absurd that an admin can call someone something disparaging, and when the person they insult use the exact same language back they straight slap them with a ban. I didn't watch the demos but this should clearly apply:

Im all to familiar with the "disrespecting admins" excuse for banning people because i used to use it. Its obvious that euronews abused his powers. If not by actually using them but by using his tag to harass players and manipulate them in to defending themselves.
