Cadebreaking is kinda tricky, since what you consider to be helping, the cade owner may consider to be hurting. If you so happen to be in a caded spot with an admin and what they see is you shooting at their cade they might just jump the gun and tell you to stop cade-breaking. If you were warned and didn't stop, you were rightfully banned (regardless of intent, since the cade was theirs).

But that's all hypothetical. Like Money said, post a demo so we can see what you're talking about. Just for the record (I haven't reviewed any demos) I wouldn't call this admin abuse, since this seems like more of a misunderstanding of intent.

Well to his credit, he helped fix my shit after 3 dumb fucks including himself cade broke the shit out of me when I was already set up in the truck on abandoned base. Just for lying and setting up a shitty abuse thread, I should extend your ban time, but I won't. I took the time to find out exactly what he did and you can watch from tick 43,000 and on, constantly shooting my cade. Serve your time case closed.

Well he did shoot out the vendy in order to get thru so that was cade breaking.
Then again I didn't see no warning, slay, or kick. Just straight to ban. Also I didn't see the admin's tag on when the ban was made.

Sourcebans modification is meant for other issues. It's the same deal without tag if you are active in server at the time for this simple shit. Everyone's admin through sourcebans is about to be limited because of you fucks trying every way to skate around the rules and trying to bypass responsibility for your actions. Real niggerish shit going on lately.

Taking away SB access entirely is a terrible idea whether people have been abusing it or not. I've made a mistaken ban a few times and corrected it through SB. Or I'll issue a short ban to get rid of a trouble player and then check his history on SB and edit the ban accordingly. I've nailed a few repeat offenders this way with a much longer (and completely deserved) ban than I would have given them if I was just temp banning or slaying/kicking to immediately stop them from cade breaking or whatever.

All this stuff about admin powers being limited because a few people abuse or misuse them is bullshit. First it was slap (which is just a novelty so I don't care that much), then yesterday Scrib told me that we're gonna lose the senior rule and admins won't be able to manually change the map (because a certain faggot doesn't respect other admins or players and abuses his reserved slot to sit in spec indefinitely), and now SB access is being removed too? What does that even leave for regular admins? Kicking and banning (but only in-game)? A few worthless commands like /csay and an admin skin? Where's the value in that relative to the price of admin?

I know clan is discussing this stuff privately but I sure hope we have some kind of public discussion too before you guys go and take away 90% of the reason most of us pay for admin in the first place.

No one forced you to buy admin. It is there for people who want to support the community and not for people like you who only get it to "have fun".
