This is true ^. My ex used that topical numbing crap they give pussies when she had her tattoo finished on her hip bone (it goes from her shoulder down) and it got real nasty looking. Plus, she said that it barely even managed the pain. Though you could argue that it was because she is a fucking skinny bitch and had her hip bones more pronounced.

Honestly, I just use my hydrocodone that I have for my shoulder. If I am getting work done, I just time it right when I need to take the hydro for pain management. Works well and no loopy side effects..... other than kidney failure.

In my younger years I use to get special K to go get Tats. You kind of nod out, the artist will love you for it. But I agree you should deal with the pain or not get the fucking Tat there.

It works great for 2-3 hours then the pain comes. Only prob is its $50 for a small ass tube.

Nothing that will thin blood (eg advil, alcohol). Most places won't admit you if you have been drinking, regrets and bleeding out being the two factors they consider. Just go in clean and make sure you are hydrated. It's permanent, do it right and suffer through it.

Bleeding out causes low ink retainage, meaning you will definitely have to get it touched up soon after where if you just went hydrated you could sit for longer and not have to get it touched up for a year or so.

I wouldn't get one at some guys house that doesn't clean his needles lol. Only thing is after you use it once you gotta wait 2 weeks to heal, if not it will pull the ink out.
