Why did you order admin
------------
I ordered it because I was tired of having to try and get a hold of an admin when hackers, and/or tk'ers joined and made game-play less enjoyable for me, as well as others.
Why do you want to be an upper level admin
I wish to be an upper level admin because I believe I am ready for the responsibilities that come along with it, I have been admin for awhile and think I have a solid grasp on what I need to do to help this server prosper.

I do that to, and you might notice a distinct lack of ULA.

perma ban threads, unlike unban threads, encourage admins to weigh in their vote as a COMMENT only, so that you can get documented proof of where your vote would have been cast had you been a ULA.

So whether you like to lurk the threads there or not, I strongly suggest you start posting your opinion about bans and your reasoning (and not just jump on a ban/unban wagon started by another ULA or the majority of people). You'd be surprised how many times the actual facts lined up with the underdog on the thread as long as they properly posted their opinion.

It also gives us a good idea on who you are and how you handle bans, and how active you are.

Don't be affraid to fuck up (as long as you learn from it) becauseyour opinion is only an opinion when you're an admin... as opposed to when you become a ULA... then your opinion matters on bans, and we need to know how solid it is.
Do that first, and consistently. Then nudge me about the app:)

ULA requirements: have admin for a significant amount of time, prove how adept you are at catching hackers and how much time you currently spend in the servers by frequently catching hackers and posting in bans that you weren't involved in but watched the demo and agree or disagree with, and are known not to be a shitty admin among the general population (abuse threads, etc). We have no standard (despite the minimum requirements), and base the quality of each applicant on their general status among the IBIS community. While our requirements are the baseline, we judge those that qualify based on what's going to benefit the server.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, but not considered for ULA because they have too many abuse threads posted against them in which they were complete assholes without abusing admin.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, have no abuse threads, but still not considered because while they may have put forth the minimal effort required in writing, they didn't do enough in which enough of us has noticed.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, have abuse threads, thought of as an asshole by the IBIS general server population, and still considered for ULA because of the amount of effort shown to be at the benefit of the IBIS community.

Under no consideration will an applicant be considered without the minimum requirements.

If the above is not specific enough for your understanding what is expected by us for ULA requirements, then you probably will not make it. We expect you to make time and genuinely care, nothing less.

I should be more clear, I dont often post in perma ban threads because the vast majority, its upside down aimbot. You guys really dont need a second opinion on those. By lack of ULA I meant lack of me being ULA. I think Fox has a similar mindset. I dont mind looking at other more difficult ones (like that recent bhop script one) and posting on them though. I discussed those ones with rawr, since she can often point me in the right direction. Though often by the time I look at many of them, the threads are already closed, which is fine.

Im sure Fox is in a similar situation.

I should have prefaced that my post was not directed at any individual but the general population.

You're right, we don't need a second opinion, we trust the ULAs we choose to review demos and make decisions. While it isn't necessary, it is not a bad thing that I see you double checking the OP's proof. Despite how pointless it may seem, even ULAs are expected to review the demo before voting on a thread, despite how obvious the OP makes it out to be and what level that admin may be. When the ULA post a thread for an upside down aimbot and close it for obvious reasons, they are doing that on good faith. If the player posts an unban thread, then the clan intervenes.

Understood, I will start posting on the perma ban threads more often in order to give you an idea on my thoughts and opinions on the matter, although upside-down aimbots I really don't feel the need to post on because of how obvious they are, other then that kind of thread, I will definitely become more active with my thoughts and opinions in order to show I put forth that effort.

basically this.

while the ULAs have been veterans enough, and vetted enough to take care of the bans themselves (with oversight on severely hard cases if there aren't enough ulas who havent voted yet to run throughthe demos twice), it shows that you are putting in effort when you post your opinion.

While i agree that upside down aimbots dont need vetting, they usually get locked immediately anyway.
otherwise, feel free to post! :)

I'm gonna quote owns from when I applied for ULA with other candidate apps, not just for you but for everyone who applies.

Posting in ban threads, even if it's stupid obvious, pointing out the ticks and giving your opinion bridges uselessness to usefulness. That's the key thing.
Keep your hack bans streak alive.

Aside from being a troll, fox has the potential to one day be a great ula. Rebuy admin and get back to working on becoming a ula!

If you still plan on being ULA one day, you should update your submitted ban threads.

Your most recent comment on a ban thread after months of inactivity was "I vote no"
I understand that life happens, but if you're not able to be active then you wont make ULA. Plain and simple.

You will not be ULA unless you do the following:
1. Be active on ban threads
2. Actually put forth the effort to write out what you did or did not see in the demos ("I vote no" is not good enough for an applicant)

Try harder and maybe one day you will make it

Like what you said back in January

I would like to withdraw my ula app currently as rawr said I don't currently have the time and I don't want to have an app in and be considered for something that I know I won't be able to make a full commitment too. I will still be an admin and do what I can but I am having trouble doing even that.
