it did look pretty good. that cliff climbing part was pretty sweet. i'm sure the online will be pretty much the same as the other two, but it works, and i love the weapon customization. looking forward to this.

Games are sucking these days because it's no longer about the fuckin gameplay buit the bucks rollin in. Check the CoD franchise. Treyarch made CoD3 and CoD5.

Take a look at what IW did, every other game. Which ones sucked? Treyarch didn't make CoD3 and 5 for the Gamer they made it for the Dollar.. Valve are being written up with this too, they aren't making L4D and L4D2 for the gamer, theyr'e makin it for the dollar, this is a lie, L4D has been my most enjoyable game this year and the only FPS game I've liked so far. (Despite it being a zombie survival game its still an fps, really).

I'm loving the fact that IW are trying to break off from the cod franchise and just simply start calling their game new names. They want to call cod6 Modern Warfare 2 and only that. I appreciate this from IW as it shows that they care that cod5 sucked cock. I'll probably buy mw2 for this reason that IW care about the gamer.

Also looking forward to AA3 this year after I played AA2 this one should be a decent realistic fps game. Bungie are bringing out Halo 3 ODST for the 360 which has me set for which 360 game I'm definitely buyin this year :D Looks freakin awesome. TY ITB <3 I love IW for the fact they care about us, who want quality games and I'm almost sure I won't be let down my MW2 :) I'm totally gonna start reviewing games in a sec so I'll stop myself and make it short or atleast as short as i can make it.

When game designers start finding games that worked well, really well. Then start to improve on the original game that could use some tweaks and some new gear added, then make a sequel, place it at a different location/time add a slight story to it and add all your new shit and perfect it with patches in the few months following release. Then and only then will I fall in love with game designers again. That's a decent sequelin my opinion, same decent game play, different setting.

When you get a game that has been worked to its limits and can be upgraded and patched no more, when you run out of ideas to put into this game, stop. Do not continue working on it and move on to another title. If the game was multiplayer just add in an easy to use tourney planner and leave it at that. So players can enjoy their old game at a competitive level and a level they run themselves.

I care more for GAMEPLAY than I do for Shiny graphics and an "Amazing Story" If I wanted an amazing story I'd go to the movies.

The mission in COD4 that really got my blood pumping was the Chernobyl one.
When that chopper came down and those blades were spinning and you were running like hell... that's what all games should have. That moment were your heart is actually beating and your really into it and all that. CSS is actually one of the only games that dose that for me any more. 1 v 5 gets intense when the pressure is on. I just hope more games come out with that really fucking intense feeling that came with COD4. I don't know if anyone else feels the same about games but i think that all games should have real intensity.

I own both Inthebutt, and after owning them both, I can safely say that apart from the console exclusives, PS3 is worth it's price. Don't even have to buy a blue-ray player now.

Besides, in the time I've had both (since the day they both came out) I've had to replace my Xbox 360 3 times, and my PS3 has never once given me a single problem that wasn't my own fault. Thank goodness I had a warranty for 360, and that PS3 has been good to make up for my lack of a warranty on it.

If that were true than the whole series would have no popularity. 1,2, and 3 were all considered great games by gamers. I think its just that like COD5 was weird. And with COD4 being out just before COD5 felt they had to make a choice between COD4 and COD5. And COD4 is just a better overall game in most peoples opinions.

Microsoft is slightly more dead to me than it was before. I have a PS3 I just finished Resistance 2, Great game. I want Army of Two 2, lol. I'm looking forward to Uncharted 2 as well, I liked the first one.

Just because an FPS doesn't have the same customization that CSS does doesn't make it fail.

Modern Warfare was an amazing game and Modern Warfare 2 will also be amazing.

In none of the COD's were you able to switch it to 3rd-person. Although they did make it an option in MW2, it will only be allowed in PRIVATE matches. Meaning non-ranked games.

So, I see no problem with this. I remember back in the CS beta days, it used to be a 3PS as well. But that was easily exploited to look around walls, so they took it out.

3PS will NOT be a problem in this game. Private matches are for teenies.

It is only for some online playlists. The majority of the game (and its servers) are still FPSs.

i play through the campaign before i do ranked multiplayer matches. and i havent done the spec ops yet but i heard its badass too.also i heard that in one game mode, (pretty sure its the ranked multiplayer) if you get a twenty five kill streak, you get a nuke and it kills everyone on the map and your team automatically wins.. i dont feel like looking it up but a friend of mine told me about it.

Modern Warfare is amazing. I don't care what platform your playing on, its fantastic.

The campaign is on the short side, still very fun a pretty decent story.

Spec-Ops is fucking cool, bunch of missions you can play solo or with a co-op split screen/online friend.

Multiplayer is godlike, it will be popular forever, as long as IW will keep updating and introducing new content.

Note: Throwing knives make you badass, just because they are 95% impossible to kill someone with, lmfao. It's cool though, I'm pro with them.

actually all the halo fps games are great games. halo ce and halo 2 were basically the top two selling games on xbox and halo 3 is also at the top of the list for best selling xbox 360 games (that is before mw2. i think mw2 outsold h3 but im not sure.) they wouldnt have sold so many copies and so many people wouldnt still be playing them if they werent great games. and the "you are gay if you dont like it" thing is stupid because im sure 8.2 million people can choose for themselves whether they like halo 3 enough to pay $60 dollars for it. they can watch or read reviews on it or rent it before buying it. its simple: the halo series is one of the best shooters out there and basically the top shooter being played on xbox live and an ass load of people like it because its such a good game. and of course, there are people who dont like it. to each his own.

it took me a while to get it. the chances of sticking a buddy and them running to an opponent were slim on xbox live. people arent very organized and its pretty chaotic. or im just a noob :lmao: haha

LOVE IT! Just got it for PC about 2 weeks ago. At captain rank now. Play with a clan of old guys lol. Pretty funny. I am 28 and i am the youngest! Most of the guys are 60+! Good guys though.

Some shooters are just better with a toggle rather than a mouse. CSS would suck on 360 cuz it takes so much attention to aim. And Halo sucks on PC cuz the turning and everything is made for 360.

i agree. aiming on css is much easier for pc. l4d is also much better on pc, however imo, halo is much better for 360, so is gow and codmw

Played 2 missions on veteran, then played a few rounds of team deathmatch online.

It isn't a bad game.. It's just nothing new or amazing to me.

The original Battlefield: Bad Company is still entertaining to me though.

Try the FFA part. It's not as slow moving as the team assist and although the maps are pretty large if/when it catches on I'll bet it will be a keeper :)

The MW2 360 works perfectly fine, very good console and I like it alot, as well it IS an elite, it is only different from any other Xbox 360 Elite in that it has a bunch of artwork on it... litteraly there is no difference on live or from basic gameplay or even xbox dashboard... its the same thing... it just has a different image, the only problem was that it refused to read the MW2 disk... which upon exchanging the disk it works completely fine.

That's what the MW2 Elite is basically. Plus the huge 250gb is sufficient for down loadable content and all saved games. When I purchased the Halo 360, I noticed it wasn't paint at all, and they were face plates. I haven't heard any issues of the MW2 Super Elite considering it just came out and it's limited to 3,000 to the U.S. and 2,000 every where else in the World. So they only made 5k of these units.

Also please note that not all games will read and it has nothing to do with your console, so wicked was right to take the game it's self back. I have gotten error readings on brand new games from all types of consoles. It's an error on the finalization of the disc and not the console it self. When I used to work at Toys R Us and Target, you'd be amazed how many parents would buy a new console because 1 game wouldn't work. I told them to just return the freakin' game it self and get another copy of the game.

installing the entire regular game 2 my harddrive it took about 6.8 gb's.... there is no way possible that the special edition has an extra 249 gigs worth of content.

Since MS rectified and solved the issues of RROD the only console that can even have the likelihood of getting that is the Arcade edition. Secondly, users will cause their RROD by putting it on the carpet. I swear if any of you are putting your 360 on a carpet, you need to put that shit on a hard surface.

I understand you're a fanboy of the PS3. However, concocting phantom issues on the system doesn't put any credibility of what your stating unless you have links. If anything I've read the Xbox runs perfectly smooth and cannot get the RROD. The percentile of issues with most special edition XBoxes and Elite editions are second to none.

I blame pattern of creation... Remember that the ps2 had been out for quite a while then the xbox came out and was a much beter system overall even though it required you to buy extra things for dvd use etc.... Then the 360 came out first and was an amazing system, then the ps3 came out with everything... except good game franchises, and now the 360 has released the elite, which in my opinion is much beter than the regular ps3, what will be the next system I don't know but i look forward to it.

Realistically looking at the numbers, the 360 is the better selling console of all three consoles. I'm not surprised.

When I worked at Target in the electronics section, these three consoles were making their first introduction into Christmas. So I believe it was around 2005 or 2006. At the time of their releases the Wii was already sold out due to lack of production with high demand. The 360 definitely had the best game franchises when they first released the console. They also had XBox Live to back on which is by far one of the best online gaming for consoles.

Target sold out of the 360 and the Wii. The PS3 was barely purchased. Those that purchased the PS3 said (at the time) it was a cheap Blu-Ray player. Keep in mind Target attracts between Joe Average gamer to Hardcore gamer.

Even after people know about the 25% chance of failure with 360s, they are still purchasing it. It's not scaring anyone away. It's the features that the Xbox has always had that attract these buyers to purchase it. When I get money first thing I am purchasing again is a 360. When I had a PS2, I barely used it to play some games. I always loved playing online. I tried the online gaming on PS2 with SOCOM and shit, and it was terrible. When I had the first Xbox that shit was fun to play on Live. They built and signified what online gaming is even if you have to pay for it. People will pay if it's good (see WoW).

It's kind of sad Sony builds a good product, but their emphasis at the time of PS3 release was the Blu-Ray player. They had nothing to fall on. No good games, shaky mediocre online play. What used to be considered a cheap Blu-Ray player is now obsolete considering the market has changed.

i had the 360 first but it broke on me after 2 years and i got a ps3.i just prefer the ps3 more.and the rrod shouldnt even still be happening ..even if they put it on the carpet.(4 years to fix it)

ppl play CS plenty on campuses, id actually bet that more ppl have played CS/CSS via lan parties on campuses then they have halo. CS is just about pwwning ppl with your skill, not needing vehicle, or crazy ass space weapons or all that other stuff, or unlocking the golden ak, or any other stupid perk.. it's simply just basic existing guns, and your skill. and then if you get tired of reg CS there's always all the mods as we already know.
