Rule change about names

Should we free up names other players have used in the past, if they are no longer active on our servers? It is something I think would work well, after all we have had many, many players who have played in the past are no longer active, so I don't see a point in blocking off the names of past players. As long as they haven't played here in over a year that is. I feel like section 11 could use some updates because of the massive number of players who have played on our servers and how common some of their names have been.

I dont understand, Names are not blocked off. XI.1 Is phrased in a way that it has to be intentional, and even then its at the discretion of the "original" name holder as well as the admin if it is being done to make our lives hard. Otherwise we dont give a flying fuck if players are messing around.

Though I do wish all players would stop using Papi.

Zero is correct, Not only am I advancing my acting career, mut has reported me to steam for "harassment" and I am being added and deleted by ggc members constantly because "I am a hacker and am bringing down their name" Honestly, I just find it hilarious, and its helping me develop my method acting as well, after all when in california might as well audition :P

Mut does not play in ibis and is no longer listed in the psycho stats web page. My question is, does the rule about impersonation mean a player within the ibis community "which Mut is not" or anyone that plays counter strike...

What I don't get is why Mut cares what players in ibis do. He has had his minions message me about someone they banned for "hacking" trying to get me to ban them from ibis without proof of hacking within ibis.

The rules state, "1) No player shall use a name made to look like another players" this means in-game at a time, this makes it harder for admins to take actions on a player if need be.

And of course, no player should impersonate an admin or clan member at anytime, and that's specifically for our respect.

As for me, I honestly hate it when people copy other people's name, especially if it's 100% or almost 100% to their exact name. I find it immature, no humor, and just the player trying to seek attention, which is needy and I dislike that. Those players make their own name to build their own character, their own trust with players, they don't need another "troll" to fuck around with that. Again, comes down to respect. Even if it is towards GGC.

Well fox has not taken it to the extreme and changes his name daily to make it something SchoolBoy bc of Swedish Schoolgirl and hes even took it as far as making a steam group bc of it (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/adskfhakdfakldjfa).
