watched him ban 4 people, followed by multiple people leaving server. don't act like such a baby. Anyone who speaks against you, gets banned. Grow up.

oh and according to your "TOS" you are breaking 2 rules:
9)Banning someone should only be used as a last resort to get a player to listen or to remove a hacker.(In other words mute a spammer do not ban him right away.)
10) All bans must have a demo to be perma

as for the other 3 bans(i think it was only 4) they CONTINUED the "name" calling and such. they also took it beyond an even close to nessisary level.

as for ppl leaving... when the server ended it was 20/21. not sure what it is now, maybe the same. and 1 person left(the other person who left soon after rejoined). so nice propaganda there.

i dont really care if they are unbanned, ill just re ban them if they op to continue not to watch their tongues so blatently...

the thing though, to get respect, you have to give it. YOU interrupted the DNR member when he was talking to that girl about his brother. i apologize for not knowing any names here. however, you think you are god, and everyone should listen to you. If you still wanted to follow your own rules, you still should have muted him and everyone else that verbally berated you.

also, if you did want to set a precedent wouldn't you have to make the NEW rules first, to fall back if ever questioned? I forgot, you are god though, with these amazing powers. There should be no check system to see if an admin goes out of hand, for they are perfect, ordained by the originator

precedent doesnt require a written rule, it requires an action. and people have been perma banned many many many many times before for pure disrespect. as far as the mutes go, he said he woudls to talking so i figured he essentialy muted him self. so if he kept talking he would just by passs my mute(its logical)

New to the forums, been playing on the GG server since around the beginning of December and I agree. I'm the guy who was banned last night for telling MagOp to get the dick out of his mouth. First off, probably not smart but I was stoned and didn't really care who I was talking to because it needed to be said. If you're going to interrupt an important conversation, do so without stuttering and stumbling over your words and get the mic out of your mouth.

Was it worth a ban? I don't think so. I'm an admin on another server and would I ban for that? Absolutely not, because it would be overturned in a second and I'd have an SA up my ass instantly. It'd be like if you were having some friends over for a party and one beat you in beer pong, you flipped out and starting being a dick to everybody, somebody told you to quit acting like an asshole and you starting screaming at everybody to get the fuck out then called the police to say that people were tresspassing. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense when its put that way, does it?

If I knew as a server owner, that one of my admins were acting that way towards regulars on my server, I'd be pissed. In fact, I'd be livid especially when one of the people banned was thinking about getting admin on his gungame server.

That's awesome but how about the rest of my response. I realize admins stick together (I usually support the other admins on my server without question - key word there being usually) but nothing about how this went down rubs you the wrong way?

BTW, that was the line that prompted me to encourage MagOp to remove said dick from his oral orifice before attempting to sound hard.

Breaking these rules in any way will result in admin privileges being revoked, and for more severe cases being removed from the clan, server, ect. All cases will be evaluated and assessed by high ranking clan members. If you feel that a clan member / admin has broken any of these rules, please post in the correct fourm. Admin is not refundable.

Those are the only three rules from the TOS that have anything to do with this situation.

Nothing in there says not to disrespect admins (if what I said can be regarded as disrespect), but if it did, rules 4, 9, and 10 would over-rule it in this situation.

This is the first issue I have ever had with admins on any of the GG servers and I hope it will not be held against me in possible future interactions with MagOps or any other members of the IBIS crew. I follow the rules and was kind of pissed when I was banned because I knew what I did was not a violation of the rules.

I posted in the unban forum and look forward to the possibility of playing more GG on the IBIS server.

Just the other day we had 2 players come into the pub, and spray kiddie porn,and i'm sorry no demo needed perm banned instantly! There are reason for perm bans to be issue without demos, this is one ,that can be issue immediately.

Yes. Dual, I understand. I plan on getting together with ZERO and writing a new TOS.

Certain cases it will be permissible to ban without proof.

when you ban through the spray tracking system it logs that it was baned via that. There is a log of the warrnings given though that system. As a result this creates physical evidence of a violation and thus a demo is not aways required under that circumstance.

As I said in my other post, the perma ban needs to be used correctly or it will be removed :violin:
