I leave nov.16 for boot camp. :pistols:

not sure yet. as soon as i take the physical, but the recruiter gave me the option whether i want to go in 2 weeks or wait until after my birthday (in October)

Man, everyone seems to be joining the Military these days, myself included.

Enjoy bootcamp man. I say that because Marine boot camp is the worst bootcamp. However on the plus side, you get throw grenades so get through the worst to get to the best.

Also... Never utter this phrase unless they tell you too. "SIR YES SIR!" That's what we call a sir sandwich and they will rip your ass in two. Lots of people get suicidial so watch out for your wingmen. Also watch for the people who put purell in your canteens. Its spreading through boot camps now as a form of poisoning. It started getting big when I left Lackland AFB last year.


Also youll find this funny when you first get to boot camp.

"You will drink 1/2 to 3/4 canteen every hour NOT to exceed 12 canteens in a day."

Have fun with Entry Controller duty also.

omg, good luck to everyone and i do hope that you enjoy yourselves.

but....
if you ever feel that your being supressed mentally/emotially, finding that you actually love shouting in unison with others and/or find yourself instigating or joining in the act of singling out an individual b/c he/she's different... I consider that a result of brainwashing and you should contact me immediately.

I'm anti-military, but i do understand a lot of people enjoy it and often need it in their own ways. If it seems like I'm dis'ing your choice, i'm not. One choice is as good as another.

I've been in and i'm finally out, i have a lot of experiance of what you ppl will be going through. If you'd like info, tips or just need to chat/vent your rage and frustration then pm me. If you'd like my contact info just in case to contact someone while in basic or afterwards then pm me.

We has an awesome military.. the ranks are filled with polar bears for infantry, beavers for engineers cause they can build dams, gophers for mine finders and our tank brigades that consist of dogs sleds....
