Progress bar?

I'm just wondering what the progress bar on here means. I've only been on the forums for a short time but mine says 55% so... what is it based on?

Your name changes based on how many posts you get. The progress bar shows you how far away you are from getting to the next rank.

In other words, it is worthless.

majority of forums use a ranking system when it comes 2 posting, that way it encourages people 2 constantly post so they can try and get it 2 a high rank... but like christmas said, it's worthless.

Lol sure, I got no beef with it due 2 this being a small forum. on huge forums though it causes problems, people just constantly post the most random pointless shit 2 get there count rank up it's horrible. people are good about not doing that shit on here most the time I noticed... I think it all comes down 2 the fact you're all jealous that I'm an ibis specialist.. and you're not:icon_mrgreen:

Honestly I would prefer it if there wasn't a progress bar AND that you could edit the information listed there.

Also if the post-count was removed it would help curb the spam (possibly).

Xmas got it right. Hide the post-count, remove the progress bar, and allow us to edit our "Title".

That shit would be clutch as hell.

I'm pretty sure with all the shit zero does on a daily basis, I think that the progress bar is on the bottom of the list, if even on it at all Lol.
