Spray Tracer

I'd like to suggest that all 4 servers get a spray tracer that is separate to the mani plug in. The tracer can actually trace sprays even if they have been sprayed on top of simply by aiming it with your cross hair. I've played on a few mini game servers that have this plug in implemented, and it easily gets rid of people who want to spray inappropriate sprays on the server. Everyone can see who sprays what so it actually helps the admin if someone sees a spray that is inappropriate.

At least on ZMod, there have been more inappropriate sprays in the last few weeks than I've seen in the last few months. Half the time if I'm staring right at it with my cross hairs over it and use the Mani plugin it can't even find it. Other times it points off in a different direction.

what we need is some type of mod on all 4 servers that automatically kicks for inappropriate sprays.

just like the mod we have on the servers for spamming timeleft. it automatically kicks but in this case bans as well.

Developing a mod to recognize a penis in a spray is pretty much impossible methinks.

Even if you could develop a mod to recognize color patterns in sprays, the next thing you know I'll use my spray and a mod will identify the baby's arm in my profile as a penis and BAM! I'm gone.

unless penis's have become multi-colored since the last time I checked mine, you got nothing to worry about. I'm sure that mod will only pick up single color images like a skin color.

ok, getting back on topic, that's a great idea. most servers i play on (non-ibis) have that kind of mod.

No, that is silly considering I have a nude spray of 2 girls. So do many other regs on the server. We have enough admins that are on in rotation that if a player or regular sees something inappropriate, they can alert them. Problem with the mani plug in is it's flakey in the sense of only identifying 1 persons spray in the area. This plug in lets you see even ones that are sprayed on top of each other

The spam feature in console and chat is to not flood and crash the server. That is totally different and understandable why that's in place.

I do like lokas idea. but agree with omg on the I don't think it's possible 2 make a program that knows if a picture is appropriate or not

Great Idea, I remember one day there was a spray of some like 12 year old girl getting raped and no one knew whose fucking spray it was :banghead:. And the bastard kept spraying it!

And a program to distinguish appropriate and inappropriate? no, not going to work out well.

Okay, obviously we're not going to have a mod that automatically identifies an inappropriate spray and kicks, but we DO need better tracking.

As I said in another post, there's a plugin that tells you the name of the owner of the spray when you put your crosshair on it. Seems to work every time too.

Yea, I have seen some servers use it, it be really nice to use this instead of waiting 5 minutes for someone to respray their god awful sprays.

although i haven't been over there in forever, all my buddies probably forget who i am.
