Right, but I've only ever used ma_admins, I've never used ma_users, therefore can't speak to people being able to use it who don't have admin privs. I was simply speculating.

I've personally banned him numerous times for numerous offenses...we'll see though.

When I got in, I heard that he was being an ass the whole time, and trying to votekick people. Next time you see him, just type in status in the console and paste the line with his handle and Steam ID...

III. Perma bans
This is the highest punishment a player can receive. It can only be granted by a relatively small number of Upper Level Admins. Perma bans usually require a demo but always require that the player in question, beyond a reasonable doubt, committed an offense against the server and or community. Like any ban these can be applied but require a 2/3 majority vote from ALL upper level admins. If the ban appeal is denied it can NEVER be made again.

he has come back and done it, multiple times. read my last post. in ZERO's eyes...perma-ban is a reasonable punishment for this. ESPECIALLY after many failed warnings and punishments.

For about 5 days obviously. And like &&toasties said, he's been trouble. I've heard this from several people.

it's simple. did chewy or {bos}zombie get their admin activated? if they did, then ban this codedy fucker. he's worn the tag for a week, and if those two got their admin activated during that time zero would have activated codedy's as well.

Here's what I do in order to find out if someone with the tag is an admin.

When they log in (fully to show on sb_status) type ma_admins. If they don't show up tell them that they have 30 seconds to prove their an admin or get banned for a week. If they don't talk or respond ban them for impersonating an admin. (not really a week, that's just to get their attention.)

Make sure they're logged in, though. If it just said "<insert name here> <ibis.a> has connected" and they haven't shown up on the list yet, it's because they aren't fully logged into the server. Once it does the "No bans found for <insert name here> <ibis.a>, yada yada yada" that's when the hammers should start falling if they don't show up on the admin list and are just wearing the tag to impersonate an admin. If they are a noob that just hasn't had their admin activated yet they'll tell you in a flash. Likewise, if they are a noob that just hasn't had their admin activated yet, they can ask Zero to un-ban them when he can get around to it.
