ok, the server was bugging again, like it normally does.

because no admin had come on to restart it, this isn't really bann'able (as far as i know)

after all, you're singleling out a particular player for "abusing" a glitch. you were in there too. you might not have been a vagalion, but you were only dealing damage w/ magic abilities. what if a noob came in, picked human. would everyone who killed him be "abusing the glitch" and should they be banned?

the only thing you can do is friend alot of admins on steam, and get one to restart the server if this happens again. that way it's not an issue.

edit: oh, and the wcs server went down at approx. 2:20 EST, directly after this was broadcast through chat "

Hello, it is a stupid post about banning me because it was not my fault server was glitching. I come on and didnt know about it. Chip and keyboard were using vagalions and holding guns, so I couldnt do anything about it. everyone on the server was doing it at the moment, so what is up with this? I thought it was ok because I wasnt glitching my race. how the hell am I suppose to kill anyone without using an ability to do so?? kik was doing it on the other team, so it is fair. I think "I live as bullshit" has a problem then he should have found any admin to reset server. Thank you for your time and patience with this matter. Bye

I see how using guns with a Vagalion is abusable while the server is glitched, but it is not enough of a reason to get banned.

HOWEVER, a good reason to get banned is intentionally warding the bombsite AND house at xmas_nipperhouse. Lychee was using Shadow Hunter and warding bombsites/house saying, "The server is glitched, who cares?" He persistently continued after many people kept telling him that you can't ward the house. You can get clarification from Bullshit or anyone else on during the time that the map was on nipperhouse that Lychee was warding the house. Just because the server is glitched does not mean rules can be ignored. I have seen Lychee ward bombsites before when no admins are on, this has gone to far and a ban needs to be warranted.

lychee, under no circumstances is warding bombsite / immediate area (house on nipper, house on italy, etc...) allowed, UNLESS you get summoned there by an eye ra.

tj, you can't punish them for playing on the server if it's glitching. nor can you punish them for not having admins in their friends list to contact. nor can you punish them for not paying for admin.

Im not sure if your are on the right page with us TJ. Its not a glitch that people can do.. its easily a Bug on the server side and not for any other of the players fault. They shouldnt be punished whatsoever.

I would pay 11 bucks a month but guess what, I would use my abilities more secure and more useful instead of using them on stupid reasons so we dont have people making threads about stupid shit every 2 days.

True. I would like if i got a demo of him warding the bomb site. But hoped that i could talk him to sence and stop it. But its true that he kept telling every one that the server was bugged and that there where no rules.:banghead:

I hope Zero will give hes view on this case. I dont hope hes getting bann perm But a day or 3 would be wonderfull.

And yes its bug abusing when useing a vagalion with a gun. Becuase is that vagalion made to have guns.. NO!! Knife only. And when i kept telling him that it was bug abusing he just sayd shut up.

The bug is that no bullets give damage. So no im not "abusing" a bug play nebula and use its power to kill. Its what its made for. Its made to have all that power to kill with. If a new player on server comes. I use to tell them that server is bugged and try help them to change race to orc so they have just a bit luck to kill.

The biggest problem is that when the server was bugged (not today), no admin was online. And i would not play on another server.

well, the no warding bombsites is always applicable. you aren't allowed to do that ever like i said. unless an eye ra summons you there. but most eye ra's know better than to do that anyway.

lychee, understand this: when the server glitches, all rules still apply. you can, and will get banned for trying to tell everyone there are no rules. the same with if awp or autosniper become unrestricted on that server, you're not allowed to purchase them, or use them. period. even if an admin unrestricted them, you cannot use them. you'll be kicked/baned, and the admin will be disiplined.

now, vagalions w/ guns isn't in the rules. but neither is nebula when there is no normal damage. both are exploiting glitches. when the server is a glitch, it's probably safe to say that those are ok. but anything explicitly spelled out in the rules (i.e. santa'magician's ladder glitch) is still out.

i really would welcome zero's input here. this is all what i believe the policy is, but his word is final.

well, the other races were made to take damage from bullets.

and anyway, none of the classes were "made" to do anything in such a fubar situation. basically, while yes they were made to have that power, no class was made with this glitch in mind.

So rules still applies while server is glitching out? if so then a lot of people should get this ban. Well, I asked someone to get an admin and they dont. I was getting killed by this so called "abuse" and was frustrated so I too did the vagalion glitch. I didnt know rules would apply if something was broken already. Everyone was breaking the so called "Rules". If I knew people took this seriously then I will not do it ever again. I apologize for my in-game behaviour.

I know that kik did it too. But just that i should reocrd he change hes race. But you did not change your race. YOU kept to be vagalion after i almost spammed the game with warning that told you that this was wrong
