Well, I see your having problems with myg0t and racist names. Im currently working on a script that bans all racists names it will ban it with capitals or whatever is in their name that is racists. Kinky kenny or something they could be banned for being racist agenst jews.

You know why censors in games dont work? beacuse it blocks out usefull words and the words that were ment to be blocked in the first place just get replaced

That would force each unnamed player to name change and also eliminate duplicates.

Writing the unnamed script would also keep the size of the script to a minimum. The racist name script would, I assume, have a larger size due to the multiple variables. two reasons a name changing script is bad. First I like changing unnamed people's names. Second, by creating a basic set name for people like this is there is ever several at once it will seem like bots and turn people off that don't know better.

Scripts are like tools sometimes. They're designed to help us and make our lives easier. But it would take a supercomputer over 100 years to process the data that goes on between your brain and eyes in a matter of seconds. They cannot replace admins yet. (And I doubt they will in my lifetime, so you and all the other admins still have a special place in my heart.. Did that come out right?)

Event scripts is a major haphazard because its causes instability in the server, and causes it to crash more. Other than the more scripts you add the worse it can get, and less registry.


Even then you would have to make the mod an SMX file, and you would need to understand the the language, which is a lot like C++

for the record, wcs RUNS on event scripts. i believe zero's looking into hireing some actual programmers to remake it for source mod instead, so that it don't break once the update hits

First if you read the rules the racist rule only applies if it is directed at someone on the server. Second while mygot is banned on sight if I wanted to just ban anyone with the tag I can easily just set the flag to do so in mani.
