We'll from what i heard he ban an admin, Tazist | ibis.a.

From what i heard tazist was going to move himself into spectate. He accidently moved player: Lz into specate. She was upset and ask why she was moved to spectate. Before tazist could appologise for his mistake, he was ban by ragone.

From what ive been told, this isnt the first time ragone has ban an admin, and tazist has been ban by him before. This is against the server rules and justice needs to be served.


This happen on the zombie mod at approxmently 1 am, give or take 15 mins.


I hope theres more clear witnesses and get this issue resolve without a flame war.

If an admin is abusing their powers, you come to the forums with it. You don't violate the TOS yourself and ban them from the server.

Honestly though, people need to loosen up about the senior admins stuff. Yes you do get to make the ultimate decision about what maps we play, but at least be courteous and take into consideration what the other paying admins want to play as well. Especially admins who lurk in spectate for long periods of time.

*EDIT* Oh and as far as the Taz thing goes, if hes admin abusing make a demo and bring it to the forums. You can't just keep banning him because you don't like him.

going back to this thread: Craig you have to make demos to prove your case unless you have witnesses or a text from chat. banning another admin is illegal. like Hallwagner said on the thread when i ban him while he was admin: "two wrongs dont make right."

as far as my experience with Taz, yes i have seen him threaten people but it was because people were breaking his cade. but so far he hasn't done anything illegal while i was on. and if i seen him, its no more than 10mins and he goes somewhere else...

The only thing I do thats remotely wrong is change maps without a vote sometimes when i'm senior admin, which isn't even abuse according to TOS... it just pisses people off.

and as for the rampant abuses, personally I have only banned people for usage of the n word, the majority of the time I just hand out mutes after deeming necessary. I do not use any of the freezing or mass-slaying at the ends of rounds. As for the random map votes, I start them at the request of other players, with myself abstaining from the votes unless its brought up by another admin/rtv/time ending, typically ones that are terrible and unpopular maps. maybe it's in bad taste but if admins are sitting in spec and not doing anything at least let the active people change the map and not get all angry about it. when i'm senior admin I really have no problem if another admin wants to start a map vote nor do I start a pissing contest about it. it's a game not a full time job, relax.

Yep like I said, according to TOS I can change the map whenever I want if im senior admin. Most of the time I will do a single map vote though, all of my tubewhore minons usually vote yes too.

If an admin is in spec and doesnt respond within 10 minutes I kick them. Zero allowed it back then and im sure he is allowing it now. Because 1) They are taking up a spot for people who wnat to play.

and 2) let them use their reserved slots

I dont think taz is the best admin in the world, but he still doesn't deserve to be ban by any other admins for no apparant reason. For Admins
Simple way to cover your ass is to keep records for what you say and do for your own defense for people claiming admin abuse. I had 2 or 3 pissed cause i moved them to spec. I was making quick log of what i said and they did. If I'm reported abusing i have something to stand on.
