This is a thread on things to not waste your money on..speaking from personal experience only!

I'll start: Predators. The plot was horrible, the acting was bad, and the predators were not as bad ass as anticipated. The only highlight was that Eric Foreman was in the movie.

Anyone else have any movies they would like to spare those who haven't seen them yet?

Feel free to post about anything else (not like you guys wouldn't feel free anyway :P) that you have had the displeasure of buying that was a waste.

I was actually considering watching predators because of his review but I know better and was waiting for brad jones's and spoonys review of it first.

Your first mistake was thinking a predator movie without Arnie the Governator in it would be worth your money. Not even as a cameo.

I never expected it to be THIS bad. It was.... I don't even know how to properly relay the terrible. Go watch it and you'll know what i'm talking about, but make sure you get the "friend who works at the movies" discount, atleast.

lol cronic i just started to watch that movie on a stream. I am 15 min into it and i take a break because it was kinda boring and read this thread. now i don't have to finish the movie YAY.

Yeah, I liked it. I still wasn't sure at the end if he was actually the patient or if they were just trying to convince him to keep him quiet, even after they went through the whole story of what happened... I was in denial man.

Lol ya, I was quite confused till the end scene (after the light house)... then I watched it again a couple days later and found it even better the second time through, you catch a lot of little things you don't the first time around.

i definatelty loved that movie. cross between one flew over the cuckoo's nest and...an action movie. only thing i didn't get was him talking to the lady in the cave

So you're saying that what the workers were telling him about the story was all made up? Or they told him that to play along with his game, yet it backfired when he disappeared and went to the cave? Or did he even go to the cave at all? AHHHHHHH!

I believe they were just playing along. the chick that was apparently missing gets returned 2 her room, but due 2 buddy's paranoia of nazi's an what not, he harsh believes there's a 67'th patient or whatever.. now knowing he's the actual patient I believe his mind filled in the rest. cause even when the army general guy picks him up after he was in the cave the guys like "where were ya? we've been looking for you"

Hold the phone how could you not like the mist.... Seriously are you brain dead or just pre-programmed to like main stream plot devices.

If you have ever read a Stephen King novel in your life you should appreciate and understand this movie.
His books generally end on a downer note. He doesn't leave the readers with a "yay we all made it safe ending" and that's why I enjoy his novels so much.

WARNING SPOILER ALERT!!!

The fact that the main character watched everyone get shot (not to mention the inner struggle of not having a bullet for himself)
just min's before rescue arrived was freaking epic. I hate shitty Hollywood feel good movies where people make it out in the end....
the fact that the main character has to continue his life with the guilt and knowledge that if they had just struggled on a bit longer they would have all survived is truly deep.

Final note the 6th sense can suck The Mists Dick! You want a twist get a movie that relies more on plot and character devices than Bruce Willis.
