The tabs where it was bolted onto are broken off, and part of the opening where the exhaust comes out of ripped off too. am i screwed?

You can get a fiberglass repair kit at say...advanced auto parts...comes with 2 chemicals and you mix them and then paint it on to the pieces...make SURE you wear a mask...then sand it down and paint over it...works good.

wear gloves that are think and ones that you don't want to use and you mix the cems and put the peace of fiberglass in it then on what you want to fix. make sure you let sit for about 24 hours before you do anything. what ever you do make sure totally dry before you sand or you will have to sand all off and start over. i wouldn't worry about wearing a mask ant mush stronger then paint no where close to what a paint booth that has lacquer thinner and paint cans open in so i wouldn't worry about the mask.

I got a call today from my buddy who works for SDCS (San Diego Collision Specialists) and they will repair the whole thing and warranty the work for 3 years for 100 bucks. Since Im already dropping about 700 bucks on a new exhaust Im going to go that route.

Thanks for all the help though! I can fix my old spoiler now lol!

Why haven't you labeled the jars yet? Better yet, why weren't the jars labeled in the first place? Sharpies and duct tape are your friend.

:banghead: This type of shit is frustrating. He knows the consequences but would rather keep wiffing than making simple adjustments to the process.

PROOFREAD THE GOD DAMN MESSAGE BEFORE YOU POST IT

Paragraph structure:

opening sentence:
where you state your point and what your going at
middle 2 - 4 sentences, you support your point and debunk anything that would oppose it if its an argument
last sentence: close on your original point.

simple and if your dont' proof read it and check your spelling no one will take you seriously.

and dont forget your spacing:

"yeah none of us ware masks when we do fiber glass only when we sand cuze i don't like being different colors,

and when you have jars of stuff and you don't know what is you just take a wiff hard to tell diff between lacquer thinner and prep-sal they look the same and then you also have clear coat so yeah you have to take a wiff and its a lot worse for your health cuze you can feel your nose hairs burn.

see, isnt that easier to read?

b/c you have to clean the guns in lacquer thinner and when you order in balk you have to put into smaller containers so that its easier to use and when you don't you will have a 10gallon containers sitting there. so once you have about 10 things of gallon containers that you use and have no clue wtf they are.
