Unban Request

I got banned from zombie server with a message that I was cheating. At the time, I was optimizing the game setting according to this guideline http://www.tweakguides.com/HL2_8.html and my game avatar was standing still since I was using my console window. I am quite sure it was not an automatic ban from the server because I could play on the gg server with the same setting. I highly doubt if the automatic ban, if there is even such a thing, standards are different for zombie and gg. Furthermore, it seems that zero or someone else set specific limiters in the first place so that certain console commands from the guideline could not be run for whatever the possible advantage might be from having less graphic quality, less sound quality, and more preloadings.

I request unban, and I request to know the name of the admin who banned me.

Well i guess your nae is Maesoori now but really when i read the name it sounded like Mae-so-ori aka Me so sorry:lmao:

No. Soorimae is a type of hawk. If you want to divide it by syllables it's pronounced soo-ri-mae, and ae is the clear a sound as in apple. I guess I will give it a couple hours.

So, the zombie server banned me automatically although I could play in all the other servers perfectly fine with the exact same setting including gg server. Even after all the "cheating console commands" were disabled in the first place either by default or someone. Just for the record, the ban message specifically indicated that I was banned for cheating. And this was right after I entered the console command in the chat window which shouldn't even do anything. I know +duck command does not work on chat window.

Just unban me.

I am sorry, it was not "right after" timewise. It took like 40 seconds. I wasn't doing anything then I got disconnected with a ban message. Is there a reason why you inserted a 40 seconds delay to the server's automatic ban function?

I was guessing I didn't have to fill this out because obviously acolyte_to_jippity could tab into my steam profile on the server, so I assumed you admins already had these information or whatever enough to identify my profile. I did enter most of those information when I was registering. However, I am still unbanned, so I am filling this out just in case to help you identify my steam profile, although I wasn't told this would be needed after acolyte_to_jippity's proven ability to access my profile on the ban list, yet still left untouched.

1) we don't take orders from you.
2) if you got banned by one of the anti-cheat plugins, then not only can an admin not unban you, but it might not be possible for zero to do it
3)you do not show up on the ban list.


edit: and i never looked at your steamprofile. i just checkd the unban menu in server. you weren't there. literally. your name was not on the list of people who are banned.

edit: edit: wait...wasn't there some sort of issue w/ boradori previously? cause this is boradori.

1. I wasn't giving orders, but I actually get that a lot from certain people. Only from certain people in fact. Never had a problem with my presence in my life before.
2. & 3. I couldn't have gotten banned by anti-cheat plugins because the same setting works on other servers. Also, whatever was considered "cheat codes" among those commands that modify graphic and sound, I couldn't use them. Was wondering what they thought I could possibily get out of lower graphic and sound. If I really do not show on the ban list, either some garbage hacked again, or it is the incompetence of steam developers. I have done some programmings on my own for fun, and I can't really imagine how my setting can get me banned on a specific server yet ok with other servers. But either way, or whatever the possible other explanation is, I guess my only option is to contact the developers. Thanks for clearing that up.
4. Yes. Like I said, whatever was enough for you to check me on the ban list. I don't know how zero designed the system, so I was just listing examples.
5. Yes. I was permanently muted both mic and chat once. I was playing "Mighty Wing" the OST from the movie Top Gun, and apparently the admin at the time hated it. Not only him but his friends as well, they had a very unique taste in music. A guy named soup, who doesn't even show up these days, was playing a music at the same time with me, and to the admin and his friends, the song with 2nd rate beats techno that has nothing in its lyric with nothing but "paranoia paranoia" was "beast", in fact, this was literally the expression they used. I am not even sure if that music was actually published or just poped out of some music software. Then about a week or two after, my chat was unmuted. I haven't checked my mic yet, but I would assume the same. Then almost a week later, some Chinese hackers dropped a dropper attack or whatever the English term for it is on me. The idea was to create a situation where I cannot chat without involving admin abuse. What they forgot was the dropper attack not only disallow me to chat, or simply delays my chat for a long time, but it also delays me from buying and changing weapons among many other things such as getting kicked out of the server for "something blocked" or whatever it was. Stopped after a day and half later after I laughed at them. Either they heard it, or they just got tired of themselves. What they should have checked was whether one of them has already used it on me or not. I've seen and experienced the exact same attack 5 months ago already. And I even know exactly who did it at then. Also they should have known when an admin mute someone permanently, the chat window server does say "this guy muted this someone for how long (in this case permanently) which is pretty much impossible to hide or fake for them like their usual times.

But thanks for your help. I suppose I will send an email to the Steam or whatever that company is called.

I don't know what a derp is, but my intelligence level has been proven through 3 official tests from an official institute. I am not the smartest guy in the world, but I can think what everyone else should be able to think, or simply not think wrong and just leave it blank, if only they hadn't developed wrong thinking habits.
