For Deja Vu if you use it before you die and then respawn with it shouldn't you get to keep all of your weapons? These seems like it would make to more fair compared to other classes such as the warden or blood mage who when respawned by them keep their weapons, while with genocide i respawn with a starting pistol and am generally fucked.

You should keep your weapons when you Deja Vu.

Edit: You should also regain lost ammo.

It may not have been like this before, but Deja Vu is a repeat of what has already happened. You said he moves through time, but when he dies he wouldn't be able to move himself if he's dead.. So obviously there's some reversing of time.

No it is a travel though time your moving back to the point before you died but your weapons are still where they were when u died. This is how it works fr this b/c it would be unbalanced otherwise.

what happens when u move back in time for example when NOT dead?
and if u were battling someone , does the person return as well?
say u killed someone and deja vued, do THEY come back as well? (doesnt make sense to do that, but just asking in case that happened?)
but i second what james said tho :S going back in time means that u come back with what u had then, heck if u were reloading when u pressed it , it should come back reloading... dnt know how this would be programmed tho, is there a function that lets store ur current information every second and come back to later?
(agian, not asking anything, just wondering , pure curiosity)

Basically it is very similar to the teleport that the strider uses. Except that when you press the button you will be teleported back to where you where when you pressed it after a few seconds.

I still think it should make you exactly as you were the second you activated it, aside from the cooldown.

You have no idea how annoying it is to try and kill some of the people as Genocide when they can keep killing you 3-5 times a round because you keep coming back with a pistol.

hey, i still say race should get its gun back...most of the time its picked up by who killed u or wtvr... u end up battling with only a glock -.-
oh and with the fricken ammo -.- its so retarded when it teleports u somewhere when u were done killing someone with empty gun!!! -.-
agian...request... not trying to be smarter than anyone:P

second, i noticed that if u had a scroll, and u used ur deja vu before u died, it uses up ur scroll before letting the deja vu take action... can we fix that?:S

no, its only giving u ur side arm, usp or glock.
u maybe forcee it as having ur gun back if u happened to die where u're getting pushed back in time, but if u got killedsomewhere else, or enemy picked up ur gun, then u're basically facing another race that can ultimate or spray the shit out of u or wtvr with only a lame side arm ANDDDDD u cant use the deja vu again because of the spawn cooldown, which makes u an instant sitting duck.

I was able to respawn in one of the windows in crackhouse. Also, saw someone using a flash tele get stuck in one of the rock faces on militia.

i honestly don't like the non-stuck-in-shit code. it was always part of the races. if you threw a bad tele-flash and got stuck, well, that sucks. if you respawned an got stuck, well, that sucks.

Problem is stuck people delay the game as they don't kill themselves, this is a good counter to THAT problem.

it's just that we never had this problem before. if people got stuck, and couln't ie, they'd kill themselves. no problems. it never really came up.

Admins who slayed people who were stuck and delaying? Maybe 1 in 5. Time stuck people have been slayed since it's come back? None of the 3 times I've seen. The only time since the reset someone killed themselves to finish a round? To deny the other team of XP and money, not for a legit reason.

Just because you've never seen the problem, doesn't mean we didn't have the problem. It was a rare occurrence, and rarer after the reset. Since it happened at all, it was a problem.

Well the anti stuck is not perfect, (doing that would eat CPU like a mother fucker) but it is better than nothing.

Also reason they got stuck before is that es can not preform calculations of that magnitude so it was impossible to try to prevent them from being stuck, that is the only reason it was like that.

The / is the mathematical symbol for division so for example 1/4 is 0.25 and 1/2 is 0.5 or one half. Used in the function you get for example damage * (1/4) health. So for example lets say you do 100 damage and the ability activated it would be 100/4 or if fully leveled you would get 100/2.5

You know what would make this race better...If ultimate is used and you rez, you should get back your bought items like lace or health. I play this race like a suicide bomber, rushing in killing as many as I can then dying, just to get rez'd, really sucks that you can't have your items. This is one of the most, if not the most underplayed race on the server and I think it would help it out.

If this race triggers Deja Vu, then dies and goes to spectate before Deja Vu resets, you will end up with spectate glitch. Needs spectator spawn filtering.

Likely b/c they are programed in different ways. This is why I am going to repgoram all the races from scratch so they all use my code and work correctly and the same way.

Genocide is currently bugged.

Grenades - will proc on hit with guns. You'll hear mass explosions and see it proc in chat, dealing a ton of damage.

Deja Vu is broken. Gives unexpected results.

Problem : Genocide Player lasts to end of round and uses Deja Vu. By next round, he teleports to location in last round WHILE HAVING a less than 5 second normal CD to use Deja Vu again. This allows the Genocide player to go immediately to the enemy spawn (if they make it that far) or have a very VERY huge advantage in distance traveled. Will post demos if needed.
