As you can see, while playing on this server, I have a constant 99 fps and 16 Ping. The game I'm playing is GG mod, which unfortunately I don't have undead abilities, the black helm thingie, Attack Claws, or have an extra 50 health, but still done significantly well. On top of that, I downloaded a CEVO FPS Config file, which states what tweaks are allowed by the CEVO team. This can be located at http://www.cevolved.com.

I've tweaked my registry to allow better Ping, which can be located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKV4iHvdR2M&feature=related - This is an allowable adjustment to your registry and I've used it since WoW started having ping issues.

On top of that, if you right click CSS in steam, go to General, Set Launch Options and enter this: +snd_digital_surround 1 -high -console -noipx -nojoy -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -gl -w 1920 -h 1080 -32bpp -refresh 100 -freq 100 -dxlevel 81 -dev -heapsize 1572684. Ive technically forced my game to play with a better quality of sound, allow my ram to work more efficiently, and forced some things you don't need. Like No joystick, forcing Directx to run 8.1, etc.

Downloaded Two Programs which work significantly well.

http://www.gzero.com/gboost/home.html - GBoost: Allows you to cut off those pesky programs that you don't need, that hide in the windows background. No one wants their CPU Usage or Physical Memory to be used for programs that aren't needed.

ok, i personally haven't watched the demo, but i know for a fact that all (or at least most of) the witnesses of that event know the difference between hacking and any and all LEGAL tweaks to improve your gameplay. if you weren't hacking, i feel sorry for you because i give you a 0.00001% chance of being unbanned at any point in time. reason for not watching demo: rar files tend not to unzip very well on my computer. nightstrife, dont be a lazy fuck and use a .dem file next time :p

True... The three things I key on when playing the game is:
- Mini map displayed on the upper left hand side.
- Sounds when people run around, which is easier to pin point where people are at. On top of that, I have a X-Fi Card.
- Tracker bullets, which makes it easier to get the aim down (You guys are running that mod).

So in other words, I track where my teammates are at with the Mini Map. Once I've done that, I run around and walk some times, to listen encase there are any foot steps close to me. If I noticed no teammates are around and I still hear the foot steps. Best guess or assumption, is that its an enemy. Finally I use the tracker bullets to correct my aim. As the streaks are sent off, it projects where the bullets land.

You give me a easier way to track my bullets, and I make baked lasagna (in other words, use it to my advantage).

Another tweak is done by going to your task manager, and right click hl2.exe *32. When you do that, go to Set Priority. Finally, switch it to high.

If you use the game properties tweaks, with set launch options. When you insert -high into the line up. This automatically starts the game in high priority.

again, i haven't seen the demo, but the ban request said, walls AND aimbot, now i can kind of see where these tweaks (plus having a premium soundcard and headset/speakers) could give players with an untrained eye the impression of aimbot, but none of this gives any explanation to the accusations of aimbot. there is a huge difference in consistent reg/headshots and aimbot, and as i've said most of these players know the difference also.

That said I don't see enough evidence in the demo to support this ban.

i'm pretty sure that you physically can't run in anything less than dx9 right now. valve forces you to run at least 9, an you can't change that through console or launch options. no, on't argue that you just put a command line arg. in when you launch, because that doesn't matter. it won't take it.

also, alot of effects won't work properly at low dx levels. i think that preators in zm are bright white (aka not invis) at low dx levels.

edit: and hall, .dem files won't upload nicely here. you need to pack it in a .zip or .rar first. an .rar is nicer than .zip download winRAR an use it for EVERYTHING if you're having trouble

yes, ive just had a lot of trouble with this before :p. watched the demo, i can't see enough evidence to support walling, because sound could have been used to track those players, although your knowledge of the exact location of the enemy instead of just the general area is kind of suspicious. i also saw what looked like no-recoil. that m4 spray at the legs about midway through the demo, your crosshair didnt move at all in an upwards or downwards motion. i say ban stands

I'm far from hacking, and I'm more then happy to prove it to one of your members by going to a cyber cafe. To bring my computer, let him look at all my programs, and watch me play. My tweaks and programs are used to adjust the internet and help with fps issues. Nothing more then just improvements.

I open this up to BladeTwinSwords, if he wants me to go to the cyber cafe and have him watch me play. I'm more then happy to do so and even happier to have someone notice me for my skills.

I have kids and a family to take care of but I'm willing to go out of my house to prove myself. Its ridiculous I would have to go to that extent but I like playing on the server. I've always wanted to become a real CEVO player as well, but I know proving myself to him won't achieve that. The one thing it will create though, is respect for skill.

I give facts, and the only thing I've seen so far is opinions.

Over this whole diabolical scheme, I'm trying to opened up the door, to have one of your members watch me play. So how could I be accountable for something I'm trying to show/prove that I'm not!? I'm still stuck not being able to play on the server and still accused of being a hacker. Pretty disrespectful and not fair if you ask me. You guys gave/give me no other alternative to show ones worth, but yet you want to point fingers and accuse.

I guess the next topic of discussion will be, "The Salem Witch Trials." If I float in water I'm guilty, and if I sink I'm innocent. Fair guys, really fair.

Demo reviewed, I could not find any wall hacking. There may have been no recoil hacks but the demo is to choppy to tell. I can not tell if that is the player or the demo. When the demo showed another player I noticed the same effect when they ere shooting with the choppiness. From what I see of the game play he appears to only fire in short bursts which should improve accuracy which is exactly what occurs here.

So unbanned due to lack of evidence. You can continue to push the ban thread to see if there is something that I missed in the demo or to possibly add new demos that provide better evidence.
