Self-Esteem: 8-28% chance to have What Dosent Kill you only Makes you Stronger, Increase Attack Damage when hit (adds the damge done to you to your power level!)

Power Up: Powerup abilities of your choice 45-25sec cool down after first use
Power: 1,2,3,5 (max 4)

Here is the original description for those who care as the above is being changed:

Pride: Health,Speed and Power
Sickle: Extra Strength to Increase Attack Damage
Self-Esteem: What Dosent Kill you only Makes you Stronger, Increase Attack Damage when hit
Last Strike: Damage your enemy apon Death
Power Up: Powerup abilities of your choice

Your speed is reset to normal at the start of each round. The ultimate will add 20 or 40% more to what ever the current value is when used.

Currently everything is finished I just need to test and get the ultimate powers to apply.

Once I have all the settings done I will go back and put in the effects. During that same time you guys can mess around with it and see that it works correctly. All the settings for this race have been kept EXACTLY the same as the way the original was SUPPOSED to work according to the code.

I will now be working on the effects, the abilities will remain as they are now unless a bug is found.

what's the actual increase to speed from pride?

and do you get only one boost/round from pride, or is it like you get a random boost, for each rank you put in, when you spawn?

before it was like every 45 seconds you would get 2 use your ultimate which would allow you 2 upgrade one of the three catagories.

What ever your power is at spawn is also the % increase you will have in speed at spawn.

And, RIGHT after you left, I found a new glitch. If you end a round as this race and survive (...I've been saying that a lot recently) then switch to human, you get double your devotion aura health.

Had no stats in HD (Reset skills, didn't plug any in), and it STILL did this. When trying this with Flame Pred, it didn't change the health. Also does not happen with chameleon, which doesn't want to give the ability you want it to! Took 7 minutes of 2 people switching from HD to Cham to find it :? Back on track, also doesn't work with undead (aka: no extra health with no health skill). Can't think of any other race that gives health, if anyone can, check it too. So far, seems to be ONLY devotion aura.

Also, used a level... 12 or 17 or something like that, still did it.

We need something to give negative levels, so I could check if level 0 does it. :)

You just type reset skills and do not put the points in anything and your effectively on level 0. This is how I test when I see that abilitys works correctly at low levels.

EDIT:Nope nope, I was wrong. The "Power" value affects the amount of Increase to Speed.

Ok, here we go.


Power is the semi-randomly generated number chosen at the beginning of the round. Whatever number you get, increases your speed from 100%, natural speed, to 100%+Power%. So say you have 11 power, your speed increases to 111%.

Also, Power increases your attack damage on every hit. Simpler part haha.

NOt on every hit but is the amount of dmg that its second ability deals when it activates.

If I remember correctly...didn't the original Hells Demon have multiple ultimate choices...for example when you leveled your ultimate twice you had a chance of selecting any powerup twice or select 2 different powerups and when you leveled ultimate to level 3, you had 3 power up options every 30 seconds....

I could add in point support if you guys want that. Make it so that as you level it you can select more than one thing at a time. There can still be caps on how many of each thing you can get though.

I agree...personally its fine the way it is now...but on the final levelup of the ultimate you should have or 1/1/1/2/2/2 or whatever it goes.

this is just informative, but does a maxed out sickle do 1199 or actually 700+ dmg on EVERY hit?

i was playing yesterday against someone and they were only using usp all the time because he would get a 1 shot kill on me one the FIRST shot (didnt even fire any other bullet, check the logs zero plz).
i would be zipping as spider man or tele-jumpin around as vaga, and he would get instant shot kill, 29 times in a row, without exception. is it how its supposed to work?... heck the fucking sickle proved me more powerful than nebula at times...
the player was pwnySMTHN, and .shox was there to see it happen.

As you can see it has at most a 28% chance and the dmg it deals is 11 max at spawn without them using their ult to add to it. It can be increased if they take dmg but only for that round.

in that case, i dnt understand how sickle would inflict 1199 damage on every hit ( unless the guy was aimbotting to get it right the first time ,but lets not go there), and the guy didnt even use his ultimate to power it up yet...
ergh... i thought i had a demo to show how stupid those 1 shot= 800 dmg were, apparently i stopped demo before, but u can see them in ur logs, it was feb 23 wayyyy early in the morning (before 6 am) cyber vs pwny smthn ((1 on 1 ) before .shox joined, on dust 1 map, then sunstrocked and smthn else)
if u say sickle does 11 extra damage max , then allow me to tell u its doing a shitload more.

it could be a bug ... if he was on nebula then to this? and it carried the damage? not sure hoenstly.. i know am being annoying, but i am definitive smthn was wrong. thanks man

The deal with sickle is that the power level can be increased if the user takes dmg so that sickle can in theory deal a max of

your health -1 + 11 + points added by ultimate

To deal 700 dmg you would need to be able to regen health or 700hp.

Also it should say in your console how much dng sickle by itself delft.

well if thats the case, allow me to tell u that sickle was doing a SHITLOAD of dmg, more than 800 dmg (it showed in console, and in chat as a message saying that i got hit by sickle for 700 dmg in 1 hit or wtvr).

honestly, i understand now how much damage it can make, let say at the WORST cases that i was a maxed out human , with a periapt of health (which i had neither) then :
200 -1 +11 + 11 (which is max ultimate, which HE DIDNT USE YET) = 221 dmg by sickle right???
explain to me how it damaged me for over 1000 dmg on EVERY hit, everytime.
please zero, i know im asking a lot, but if u actually checked ur logs for that day, there was only 2 of us playing, pwnyexpress and myself, it shouldnt be hard to spot that the damage given THAT day was outrageous..
we tried to induce it again yesterday , it didnt work.. so am pretty sure there was a glitch since he said he didnt play any other race that day that might have fucked up sickle afterwards...

ps : i am SURE . 100% sure of the damage given, its not me making big numbers, i have seen the damage by sickle ALONE (in console) in my own eyes,,, wish i didnt stop demoing a couple maps before that :S

well the date is mentionned above, february 23rd, unfortunately the time am not sure, but its after 2 am, before 6:30 am, most likely between 5 and 6 am/.
sorry if i cant be more precise... i will ask pwnyexpress...but we were us 2 playing alone for an hour at least , no other players whatsoever, and then .shox joined.

ok slight problem with the race right now.... when you put points to sickle and self esteem your power never goes down... this is because most people put a point to pride and pride will set the power at the begining of the round. if you dont have pride and self esteem activates then it stays at the current level until pride resets your power. this is a problem that needs to get fixed because blade (just blade not twinblade) says people were using this exploit.

Sickle gets boosted by his current power, last strike is arbitrary. So you took 100 damage from abilities, 0 from gun damage.

Now here's the thing about WCS. It calculates ability damage regardless of weapon damage. Where the game will not allow a player to hit others after the point where they "die", the ability damage, if it procc'd, will still happen. So there can be trades involving "gunfire", unlike a normal game of CS.

is sickle supposed to stack with last strike? cuz i just headshotted one of these guys as a vagabond and hit myself for over 200. one shotted myself off of last strike.

just checked the demo, this was just a regular scout headshot, no crit. i wasn't killed by last strike, i was killed by sickle. my guess, he had a high amount of power, last strike hit me, and was modified by that powerful sickle which killed me. so is sickle supposed to proc off of last strike?

you can also see in the demo it did over 150 dmg to me, as that's how much hp i had at the time of the shot. tick 64000

Killing Hells Demon = chance to up their sickle when they die. BECAUSE they are not going to respawn (figuring there is no eye ra, bloodmage, nebula, santa, etc...), they still have however much extra damage on that death. Now if you just happened to be the unfortunate one to get last strike to proc, damage received may vary.

If they respawn however, stats for hells demon is reset. and randomized again.

vaga scout to the face + last strike + sickle = just killed meself. it happens, should be the same chance as any other event.

what makes the damage seem a bit lower is that self esteem has to proc as well on that particular hit. self esteem procs -> raises power -> last strike -> sickle

...
reminds me of that day when u and me tested sickle/laststrike dmg return from AWPing someone in the face as a nebula...and instantly dying too.
