this guy was really bad and a all the admin that were there were agreeing that he needed it. he broke half the rules while he was there and wasn therer for a hour.

I'm not doubting that, but I'm asking for personal reference if it's allowed or if we're supposed to ban them for a week or whatever and post a ban request thread?

Your not supposed to perma-ban at all on the WCS server. You do a Ban Request thread. In the mean time you can ban them for a week (IF ITS REALLY OBVIOUS) then we will perma-ban them.

Unbanned, for now no perma bans will be accepted on wcs. All people that need perma ban will be banned AFTER the demo is reviewed unless it is so clear in the demo that they are hacking so that a child would know do not ban them but instead submit a demo for review.

ZERO actually said (in the only public post that I ever saw on the matter, above) that permabans should only be done if it is, as you say, REALLY OBVIOUS. So, if it is, then according to ZERO it's fine to perma.

I say this because I've seen it spread around a lot that you can never, ever, for any reason, permaban on WCS, which is false according to the post ZERO made. If it's so obvious you'd stake your $11 on it, then go for it. If he's made a different post that I've missed (highly unlikely, I do nothing all day, so I read everything), then please direct me to it.

As for the demo, it was really obvious, but I wish you had recorded more than 2 kills. Oh well. Good ban.

Thats the answer I was looking for. I was unsure because I've seen a lot of people say that you can't perm ban under any circumstances

as for what zero said, he distinctively said that on wcs, no perma bans would be issued EVER unless the hacking is sooo obvious that a 5 year old with no css experience can tell its hacks -.- hehe
thats how i ended up banning that guy "Shooter" from wcs for perma as well..shit was too obvious, and he has yet to post an unban lol...
again, if many admins are around, it softens the blow of a perma... instead of personal grudges:P
