This administrator has had a hate-on for me for the past little while now, when I accidentally broke his barricade about a week or so back on a map called churchofmint.

I cade broke a user today. Yes, I'll admit I was in the wrong in cade breaking. HOWEVER, alex_nyc decided that it was best that I get a two hour ban from the server without warning. I know it is against the rules, but I fail to see how a ONE TIME intentional cade break warrants a two hour ban. Can you justify this for me, please? Especially when he didn't kick me first? Personally, he shouldn't be admin because of this personal hate he has towards me. Last night he yelled at me, IN GAME, to take my admin tag off (I subscribed to admin a few days ago, should be activated today) when no other admins had a problem with it.

Regardless, I firmly and truthfully believe that alex_nyc should not be admin. It is unprofessional and childish that he treats me like this. Then, upon discussing it with him in STEAM chat, he didn't respond... pure silence. How manly is that? Want to know what I take that as a sign as? A sign of having no grounds to base the banning on other than the fact that he has a hate-on for me. I hope ZERO or REZEL sees this.

I cade broke once, and that was your cade... and it was accidental. I do believe another admin stated that if you were admin you could do nothing about it simply because the incident was accidental in nature. I do believe I apologized for that instance, and if not... I apologize. It was ACCIDENTAL.

Me and him joke around all the time. I was joking. I wasn't being spiteful. A simply verbal or textual warning would have sufficed, not a two hour ban. Besides, there is a proper outline regarding what to do for punishment. If I have read correctly, a warning is given.. then a kick... then a five minute ban.. then it escalates from there. Need to re-read the outline again? Hell, I'm not even admin yet and I seem to know the rules better than you do.

Why am I paying for admin? To keep the server in line. I do only recall ever violating the cade breaking rule legitimately once. ONCE. Out of all the time I spent on this server I ever only intentionally broke a cade once, and that was today.

I'd suggest taking a look at the nature of your own actions before you even consider talking to me about mine. clearly you haven't proper knowledge about the rules surrounding adminship. I simply won't take this kind of mistreatment from you.

does not mean you can cade-break. i'm not defending you at all. i'm clarifying the tag thing. if he had asked you to remove the tag, you WOULD have removed it or he could have banned you for however long it would take to clear up w/ zero.

Yes thank you jip. i shouted twice to have him remove his ibis.a tag and then asked rezel if i can kick or ban him for it. Rezel said he spoken with Sinister about it. Sinister eventually logged off. he didn't have the ibis.a tag on today. if he did while he's not on the admin list and cade broke, it would have been a longer ban.

please close this thread... two hour ban should be up and i'm busy enforcing zm while i have time...

As for this situation. I know I personally skip a few steps for regulars, you know the rules, there is no excuse for you to cade break.

As for the 2 hours? Its not a rule that the ban is for 5mins, thats personally what I do, but since it seems you are a repeat offender of this rule I think you needed some extra time to think about it.

The only other time that I broke a cade was in churchofmint, and that was an accident. I'm not arguing anymore. I still stand by what I say.

How exactly can you prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that this was not an accident? Simple - you can't. I was running to find a good cade spot from the zombies and I wasn't aware you were in there, so I shot it down. Then the zombies took us, as they were right behind me and I didn't have time to fix it. There's a difference between you telling me to fix it and me actually having time to do it. if I had the time I would've, obviously.

so that's a yes. cades very rarely come pre-made on maps. ever. it might not have clicked that there was someone behind there, but there was.

As I have requested multiple times to take off your tag until you actually have admin, this is the kind of problems that this brings up, until your admin is actually added to your account. Tagging prior to actually getting your admin is only going to cause miscommunications and more problems.

Although Alex_NYC should of given you a warning he was in his right to ban your for barricade breaking, two hours maybe slightly harsh, but admins are allowed to dictate the ban depending on the severity of the issue. I see no abuse here, I will close the topic until zero has a chance to properly review.
