How did they abuse: Player slapped themselves out of spawn to avoid the zombie.

Additional Comments: He had a salty attitude about his decision to do what he did giving an excuse "i am just testing out my powers really lol"

Considering this is his first or second day having admin i really dont think this is appropriate behavior. If he "tests" out the slap command, what other commands does he want to "test"

First of all, there is nothing to indicate that I performed these actions to enable me an unfair advantage. I was slapping myself not to avoid a zombie, but just for the sake of slapping myself to see how it actually worked. I only received my admin status today so I was merely just testing out the waters.

Secondly, if I want to test further powers I would only do them on myself and myself only (hence why I was slapping MYSELF and not another user). If you're going to try to accuse me of admin abuse, please provide sufficient and solidified evidence as this does not indicate anything other than the fact that I slapped myself.

Also, I could hardly consider some of your behaviour appropriate.

Admins are here for the players, not themselves. Admin is not given out so that you can go slap yourself around the map, but to deal with issues in the server such as spammers, barricade breakers, hackers, and other issues which arise.

Such actions are inappropriate; Even if you are testing out your admin you need to be aware of your actions, they are viewed by the players in the server and you are gauged on how you act.

So here is the deal, this was not really abuse. He was not trying to gain any advantage nor was he using it to get away from zombies. He started to do this as soon as he left spawn. He was flying around the map and having fun but not trying to kill or really avoid zombies. It would have been different if there was limited time left and he was the last human and or if he was using it to then stop and get to places by using his powers. All things he did not do.

Now on the other hand while this was not abuse I will say that you should not be using powers like this all the time as continued use over extended periods ie multiple rounds/maps back to back can be considered abuse.

well to be more on the safe side, you should have become a zombie first and then 'slap' yourself. or use it at spawn point area.

btw i see no abuse. maybe was jumped to conclusion. i don't know because i wasn't there. If a demo was posted and we can see what really happened then perhaps we can fully agree with DJ Fails :lmao:

Sinister also repeatedly changed the map abruptly without a vote even though I was senior admin and even told him as he tried to do a map vote before that, which happened not too long ago today.

For some reason, I don't believe you. I knew you used noclip yesterday, then lied to me, saying it was sinister. I bet if Zero checked the logs right now, your name would show up as the admin changing maps. Even though I was on, which negates your senior admin, you changed the map to poon_institute without a vote or asking anyone else.

I don't appreciate liars or people who try to start shit, especially from admins.

HOWEVER, somebody (either T-Bone, Scape or DJ) changed the map ABRUPTLY WITHOUT WARNING/VOTE. That is NOT okay. I agree with anex - liars piss me off. Man-up, please.

Yea anyone can use a vote with a 1 as yes when players are busy to get it off their screens and you get your own vote that way. That is somewhat crafty.

Actually, I blatantly asked anex if I could change maps. He said that "Oh, you were in here first, weren't you?" and it was to my knowledge that I was. Acknowledging that he was a clan member, I assumed that it was okay for me to put up a map vote as he did not object to my question nor the vote. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't said. Maybe you didn't HEAR it, because I asked it over the mic and perhaps you were distracted with something else.

Also, your beacon spam is fucking irritating as it overwrites a whole fucking page in my console logs. Stop that shit.

Senior admin is what I truly hate about ZMOD. What happens is that some admins only pick maps that THEY want and not everyone else. I would much rather have a democracy and not a dictatorship.

:lmao: sounds like you were describing yourself and not sinister. DJ Can sorry for your loss even know its best not to take it on CSS or other players. hope everything works out for you buddy.

Sinister a bit of advice:
1. get off my case of being a harsh admin.

2. to make a map vote, what i would do is ask the players what maps they want. i pick out the first 4 maps they type and create a map vote from their request. i find it a bit abusive (even though its legal) to pick the maps i want unless its bad map Thursday.

3. we are admins for the players not for ourselves. we are admins to help Zero's financial problems :lmao:
we are here to enforce rules and keep Zero's servers clean. which is why i'm admin. rules breakers and little kids piss me off :banghead:

I wasn't able to catch who was switching all the maps at this time, but I was on. I will find out who it was...

As for this post, I should probably re word what I stated, I see no abuse in this thread, though it was inappropriate.
