Why banned: I don't know.

Other/Reason to unban: I have been playing css less than 3 months and due to friends being in tpg have mostly played there. I don't even remember playing in IBIS but just checked my profile and I've only played the zombie server. Tonight I came to join friends on the gg server but was notified I have been banned. I can't find the ban in the banned section and have no clue why I was banned or when. I obviously wasn't banned while I was playing because I think I would have noticed getting kicked from the server and would like to know what is going on.

I was "connected" for 8 minutes, from 3:51-4 and got banned? Don't understand this.

change your name and connect to gg

I just changed my name a couple of times and it still says "You are banned from this server."

Edit: I also retried zombiemod last night and I'm not banned from that server, just gg and the only time I've tried to play that was last night when it told me I was banned but said I was connected for 8 minutes.

you were banned by map for a bad name.

what this means is tht one of the filters on the server took offence at you. we'll need to wait for zero

I just saw you in the GG server the other day. I don't know what your talking about unless you are only banned in one particular server?
If so which one?
Also, if you get banned by map that means a piece of your name on the auto-ban list.

I've been in the zombiemod server, but not the gg one...? I'm not sure how to check >.<. I've tried getting in the gg server with a different name too and it doesn't work. I talked to a few admins last night on the zombiemod server and most had no clue what I should do.

sadly fabulous on the auto-ban list one of the partial name auto-bans is Abu
so as long as you take that out of your name your should be fine. other than that you will have to talk to Zero

I think he may have to get ZERO to lift it anyways, I believe the auto-ban system only hands out permas which tend to not go away even if an admin/clanner tries to unban.

I've tried changing my name and joining; still banned. Does that mean I have to change my name every time I want to play in the server? I've also sent Zero a message and a friend request on steam and have gotten no reply or add.

I've now sent two messages in the past week to Zero and the profile tells me he has been online. Does he not check his messages/player issues? Because it seems like that would be one of the priorities when owning servers. I don't mean to cause trouble, it's just frustrating that I'm still banned for something out of my control. Tonight was another night a couple of my friends wanted to switch from your zombie mod to your gg and I was not able to join. It doesn't even have to be the unban if that's too much trouble at the moment, but updates would be nice.

Thanks, before I try to go on again, do I need to change my name so the abu is out of my name each time I join? Or is that gone?

To prevent this in the future I have cleared out the auto kick and name lists on all the servers. The automated defense scripts automatically update to detect the latest name hacks so these are no longer needed. :wtg:
