Why banned: I wasn't given a warning, and wasn't breaking any rules. I'm a regular on the server and it's a shitty when you see a power hungry admin.

i was a witness to this admin abuse. He was just lazy and didnt want to search for him. I am a regular player on this server and play with admins on the daily, and everyone disagreed with " I Play CS With A Helmet On.ia " What a douche, admins like him ruin the server!

Well, to whom it may concern in the morning when your reading this thread. I was watching the user list in the server. As soon as cswithhelmet left, I get unbanned. What a guy. Someone should look into this regardless.

im sure you posted immediately after being banned and it overwhelms me with joy to see the Pub so connected via players but is there an exact time in which he banned you? This will make looking up the demo on source tv alot easier for Zero if he wishes to investigate this potential admin abuse.


Also my advice to you is: make sure in the next case to either record or screenshot some sort of proof. This is alot more reliable.

I Play CS With A Helmet On abused. You were not breaking any rules. Any "rule" he supposedly banned you under, does not exist. He made it up. Either way, there is no way for him to justify his means. He is there to enforce the rules. If this happens again, I will recommend his powers get put on restriction since he doesn't know how to use them anyways.

looks like other people can kick him than. you all know the rules, if you join without the admin tag on, you join as a regular person... so the fact he's using admin powers without the proper tag is abuse in it's self... more so cause he's been warned about it numerous times in the past... among other things...

I think I'm gonna start playing ZM again for a bit, it seems all the issue we're having seem 2 stem from there lately.

Remember to not link directly to the file as it can expire at ANY TIME. Therefore if the demo is deleted before reviewed there will be no evidence. This is why you need to download it and then upload it to your post directly as I have done here as an example:

Just thoguht I'd toss in my knowledge of the situation.
Ever since i became admine a year or two ago, the standard ruling was you either have 'ibis.a' in your name or else you are not considered an admin, with the exception of trying to stealthily catch a player breaking a rule. Even if motion was 'illegaly' hiding in a vending machine, he should have recieved a warning first, as you stated when you posted a reference to this rule yourself "9)Banning someone should only be used as a last resort to get a player to listen or to remove a hacker.(In other words mute a spammer do not ban him right away.)". Also, in reply to some recent flame wars ive noticed going on, there is a rule which CSwithhelmet posted himself "6) ABSOLUTLY no public flaming / arguing between clan members". seriusly guys, save this shit for the forums, we don't need to hang our dirty laundry out in the open.
