My friend was doing a survey for his psycho-analysis paper thingie for his course and asked my friends and i what is each's safest room or location in the house and why?
So i felt like sharing this question because i have nthn better to do at 1 am other than studying for a summer midterm...
So anyone feels like checking his most comfortable / "Safe" place?
For me i chose bathroom because i am both a perv, and a like a place that is simple, with no hidden spots and that can be locked:P dnt ask.
you can also answer the place you hate the most:
mine would be torn between the attic and basement... basically because i am scared shitless of dark storage rooms i rarely go into :P who knows whats been bred in there:P
ciao guys.

I was the basement vote. It was a no brainer for me, locking metal door and my gun cabinet is there.

Obviously my own room. Simply because it's mine. You come in it uninvited, you get beat up.

I live in Louisiana, no basements. An attic could be a safe place here, it just depends on the danger. If it's an intruder, the attic is a great place to be somewhere he won't look, and if he does you have a major advantage. In case of a flood, an attic would definitely be the safest place. But I said Other, representing the room under our stairway because floods are uncommon for my house (at the pinnacle of a small hill) and intruders in a gated community are rather rare.

basement: plenty of old baseball bats, and a locking door
bedroom: several pocket knives, locking door, porn
kitchen: lots of knives, easy exit through window in an emergency, viscious mutant attack greyhound

All my rooms, because I have hidden knives in each one of them, but in my bedroom i also have my shotgun and rifle.

Its the basement for me. My basement leads to a furnished entertainment room (Tv, consoles, fridge, ect). It has a steel shutter that leads to the backyard and the entrance door is pretty strong. Plus, I have a collection of swords, maces, axes, spears, and flails I keep there (I collect mid 14th century functional replica weapons). The cabinets are usually filled with chow down there; so its a good hold out spot.

most definetly my room because I have a colection of guns and a few katana's and throwing knives and some swords, so I would be good in my room

The safest place in my house is my room. I have a 45 next to my printer and a 22 hanging on the wall above my bed. :)
