LZ banned!!

I was banned Wed. at 4:46pm for 1 week, not sure who banned me...I was told it was for logging off before being tagged...but I didn't log off and come right back in..It was hours before I came back to the server! I didn't log off to avoid being made a zombie!!!!!! However I have seen many players do this and return to the server right away, and nothing is ever done to them for that..Just saying! 1 day ban, sure I'll take it...but 1 WEEK???? Come on!!

yesterday around 5:20 pm eastern time we were in lila panic v2
you were in a small room in the corner of the map i was spectating rezel as he was pulling both vending machine out of your cade and you logged off. we saw you logged off and he said to ban you for a week next time you do this again.
today at exactly 3:46 pm eastern time we were in poon institute. i was spectating everyone including you. you were alone in the tubes and right when two classiczombies were about to get you, you logged off.
so i did what i had to do.

I've warned people that I will be cracking down on people disconnecting to not get killed. I'm sick and tired of people rank whoring by disconnecting. Is your rank really that important as to be a complete jerk. First it was moving to spectator, next it was kill in console, now it's disconnecting. After this, I will be banning people for committing suicide to avoid being tagged. LZ you know better. I already have proof that Venomous is disconnecting as well. At least I see Curdy disconnecting when he is already a zombie to avoid the nuke. But at least he is already dead.

A week is a bit excessive isn't it? Especially *if* there was no warning/confrontation. Even wit a warning imo an acceptable punishment would be anywhere between a couple hours to a day after a warning. Then maybe a week if the problem persists, not a week right away.

That's why you demo. I get so many complaints about admins abusing and they ask me to come in there and demo them. Are people really that worried that they will be ridiculed for posting an admin abuse thread? If you collect enough proof, something will happen.

1 Week ban is too harsh of a punishment for this type of offense. Especially since there was no demo then there is no proof and there wasn't even a warning of any kind that was given to LZ. I believe that LZ did not do it on purpose she been here for a long time and I have seen her play fairly with everyone. I never seen LZ gotten to any sort of trouble like cheating hacking mic spamming nor inappropriate sprays. This is the first I have seen her here in the ban forums. Admin Alex should unban.

Not like they knew she was going to disconnect so why would they have a demo recording? Unless she left and then came back right away then shes not avoiding getting tagged, LZ doesn't rank whore. If you were suspicious of her doing it then the next time she joins the server spec her and start a demo if she does it again... but seeing her disconnect once and then banning her for a week? Too much.

Can't. only a clan who requested this ban can. so this wasn't my call. i didn't want to ban her the first time she logged off two days ago. i just let it go. but yesterday she logged off again. yea she has things to do but Blade has a point about Curdy's strategy. she can wait for a split second to get tagged and then log off. but she didn't. if i saw her do that the first time one month ago and she did it the second time yesterday, yea i would let that go or a warning. but two days in a row? yea to be honest it did hurt when i banned her because she is an awesome player and great person.

Just to remind everyone
I am an admin. there is a reason why i pay $11 a month. Not to help my friends to get away with breaking rules but to help everyone who is in the IBIS servers by enforcing the rules. It is also to help Zero's financials, to help the klan members when they are not around and help out a noob admin, etc. There are some on my list who are not my friends but let me know if there is a hacker in another IBIS server so i can help out. that is what I do. yes my punishments can be harsh but it reminds the punished to not break the rules again. I'm not a perfect admin nor a perfect online friend. i just want to keep this server clean so i can once again stop being admin and actually play ibis ZM and not get pissed off at rule breakers constantly. No one name any names without a demo. I have seen it and it does happen but that is neither here nor there. To the Clan member that asked for this ban can we agree that the point was made and allow Alex to end it? One day should have been sufficient in the first place.

if you see admins abuse, and you do nothing about it, than don't complain... cause you're literally just a big of problem as the admin that's abusing. if you're not willing 2 do anything about it, don't complain. ill try and track rezel down and see what he says regarding this matter or get him 2 post.
